that was this video game on PS1 where you drive this awesome customized deco-truck (decoration truck) where you hit the left/right direction button once, the signal goes on, then hit it again to execute the lane change (done by AI, of course)

OP needs a truck like that.

I think you missed that sarcasm in Dangonay's post..

All you idiots. I posted the question primarily to see if any cars out there would have rain-sensing technology to automatically initiate wipers.

I do admit that asking the question re: turn signals is me without thinking------I didn't know the answer to the 1st question, and didn't really bother thinking about the logistics of the 2nd one.

So I made a booboo. Is it really necessary to flame me? Have you been perfect all your life?

Haha, Revscene is indeed full of angry mobs, much what I was told.

2) Activate turn signals as steering wheel gets rotated.

I highly doubt such functions exist, but thought I should at least ask.
the others covered the hate so i'll give you a decent answer.

the 2010 Mazda 3 GT Sport has rain sensing wipers only for the fronts. rear wipers are manually controlled. It also has automatic headlights for those nights when you feel DANGEROUS.

haven't heard of auto turn signals in any car though. maybe mercedes will try to do it, and they would probably be more successful than their automatic braking attempt.

It has nothing to do with an angry mob...you're just being inconsiderate. Everyone knows that due to global warming, the internet is shrinking...and you're wasting space on it with this mindless garbage. The emphasis is on mind-less because any reasonable person that would sit there, and think about what you posted would realize how UNNECESSARY it is...

a) Google...I'm sure you could find a WORLD of information on rain-sensing wipers as they've been around for about 10 years now; an option on most mainstream car manufacturers, almost all luxury manufacturers.

b) Auto-turn signals...I rest my case.

You don't honestly think they don't notice that their wipers are on, do you?

Winshield wipers are not meant ONLY for rain...it's used for DEBRIS as well...Otherwise they would've called them rain wipers. Just because their is sun out doesn't mean their can't be debris on the glass or even water for that mater...

LOL lots of accidents... as the signal would be too late.. your already driving into another lane...

purpose of the turn signal is to let others know ahead of time that your turn/lane changing... not 1 sec before you do it... I HATE people that do this.. their wheel already crosses the line and then they signal.. WTF is the point of signalling?
