80k dps 760loh 2.90% life steal and 500resist + Enchantress Armor bonus does well for Act 3 for me
and also found these tonight

someone help me out? i got a wizzy and my dps is only at 26k, 30k life and 500-600 resists. i can tank for a bit but die. How do i raise my to 200k?

lol i suck at making money and only play like 1-3 runs a week max, im stuck at around the 1million gold mark.
i just find all my gear. it will be like the good old days of diablo 2... play a month, replace 1 piece of gear LOL 
that is fucking insane 200k+ dps for a barb...
how much money did u spend on your gear? or gold? if you only find items, how long would it take to get geared like that? like half a year of playing hardcore? haha

^ You can easily make a WW Barb with 20m budget that could easily farm Act 2 and a bit of Act 3 with some kiting.
Also with the current patch drop rates for good items & set/legend items seems to have increased.. Been farming Act3 the past week with friends and overall I have profited around 200m? I find that the more I farm with my friends in a full game the more we find good drops

i dont know how u guys make so much.
like i said i only play 1-3 times a week (each time is 1 run).
there is no way ill ever attain 20million.
i mean.. if you were to ONLY use items you FIND. no buying shit (cuz im not gonna be making any money at all to spend anyway).
i only use items i find or pass me down items.
how do u even make 20 million if your gear sucks? its like a catch 22...
u have to find some super awesome drop and get lucky and sell it?
i can farm act 1 myself (i may die still)... i do only 12k dps. lol.
give u an example. i ran azmodan twice the other day, and i came out even. my repairs were about 300k, and i made about 300k.

Hmm my DH is currently at around 150k dps, 24k Hp, 33% crit and 330~ crit Dmg and around 250 all resists. Act 2 is easy but the elites in act 3 still are a bit difficult especially reflect mobs. I have around 20 mil to upgrade my gear, I posted my char on this thread before, trying to figure out the best way to buy new gear that will compliment my current build or maybe even switch it up a bit.
Using hungering arrow with devouring rune, cluster arrow, multishot for trash clearing, bat companion, prep, and of course SS. My goal is to be able to solo and farm act 3 easily, with a gear set that is somewhat hybrid so I don't get one shotted but have plenty of dps (aiming for 100k w/o Sharpshooter)
Also do you still focus on getting + discipline on your gear?

Hmmmmssss....
Well maybe we're just stuck at a balance now. You guys are killing things easier, but you're way squishier.
I'm farming Act 3 with some buddies quite fine now. Rarely dying anymore.
I've edged my way up to using a survival amulet that has life regen and life on hit.
72k DPS / 500 Resists / 49k HP
Act 3 is pretty easy now.

stack up on critical hit chance / critical damage gear
and use critical mass passive!
Use:
primary skills = spectral blades deep cuts
secondary skills im using crystal shell/meteor star pact/ frost nova/magic weapon force weapon/storm armour energy armour
this build is all about tanking! You will need to deal a lot of critical hits in order it to work. The skills i mentioned above proc a lot of crit and with critical mass passive, your spells will almost have no cool down meaning your crystal shell is always on and your enemies are almost always frozen by frost nova.
This works with small pacts of monsters but works even better when there's a whole swarm of them (more critical hits).
Be careful when you are fighting elites and bosses though...since this is pretty much a melee build, you have to kite a little to avoid poison, fire pools, chains etc.
