6GB data back from Rogers
 

So if u made the switch the android recently...this is something u absolutely need to jump on

Oddly enough on android I STILL havent managed to go over 500mb

I'm at ~350MB this month with a lot of use while not near WiFi. I couldn't imagine using 6GB unless I was tethering/hotspot all the time.

There was one month where I went over, by 1 gb. I was using the phone as a hotspot and also used it for streaming tv shows, an hour or 2 everyday.
I was also justintv'ing the Canucks.

I regret getting the 6gb data now. I never use all of it. Don't do it unless you're absolutely sure you need it.

When they last had this deal i was paying $25 for 500mb. And was able to negotiate 6GB for $25 so it was a no brainer to upgrade despite me only using less than 300mb per month, lol.

I have 6gigs for a year now and on average I use about 1.5GB a month

however some months I stream music/tv just to try to get my total up becasue hey I can....When I have teathered the phone as well the most I ever got was 4.75GB for the month

What did you say to get the 6GB? I dont need 6GB, but I wouldnt mind going up to 1GB so I can use my data a little more. I think one of the reasons why I never go over is because I'm always keeping an eye on how much I use

call retentions, fight for credits and yea 6gb eventually becomes 20 hha

I use up my 1gb no problem and near the end of the month I need to exclusively use wifi.. it sucks.

Ugh, maybe I'll just call retentions and ask if there's any way I can get 1GB of data without paying more lol

I'm always Goin over my 1gb.. So do I just call and see how much it would be for 6g or do I need to sign up for a new plan?

Edit: I ended up calling in and getting it.
For $65 you get 6gb data, top 10 across Canada, 200 weekday, unlimited texting, unlimited social networking, free weekends and free after 9.
Plus 12 for voice and call display and $2.85 some government activation fee. It used to be that 6.95 fee.
And plus tax.

This is $20 more than I usually pay, but now I don't have to worry about going over, I can spend more time on RS and listen to the tunein radio app all day at work.

im paying the same price for 500mb for the 6gb when i switched to the iphone. definitely grab it if you can negotiate the credit for it.

Yeah, what did you say to get it? And how far were you into your contract? I'm gonna be tethering a lot so if I could get the 6GB it would be greaatttt

Blackberry ftw...? LOL compressed servers. This is one thing blackberry is good for. Iphones and stuff use a lot more data, probably the most out of all phones if you use the applications and such to the fullest

I've got 6gb for $30 from 2 yrs ago. Use about 3gb per month cause always stream music at gym and fap on phone at home

That's good and all, but my phone's battery can barely last a full day with a moderate amount of surfing and email checking.

for 60 i get the exact same plan as above but get 3 gb data (i've only used not even 2 and i'm about half thru cycle) and eve weekend at 6. i might also have 100 ld mins too cause thats what it says when i log in through phone but didn't see that on actual rogers site

dammm i pay so much for my phone bill lol idk do u guys think its worth it?
