Stolen Lamborghini
 

My friend had his Lamborghini Murcielago Heffner TT stolen in Calgary. It was white with a IMSA bodykit but the rumor is that has been painted flat black and is in Kelowna. If anybody see's it driving on the street please send me a PM so I can give the owner the information, he would also like you to contact the police!

Oh wow how did he get his Lamborghini stolen? Also best of luck in the recovery of the car, I'll keep a lookout as I head to kelowna on the 14th

every 100k car should be equipped with tracking...unless the owner can afford to easily replace 'em.

Kelowna is a pretty random place to take a stolen lambo, more likely it's already been shipped overseas. I hope he had insurance.

How did they steal a car without the key?

ECU is coded to the key, to get the key you need to be the registered owner and need to order it from a dealer with the VIN......

Hope the car comes back in one piece tho. Told my sister about this as she lives in K-Town.

When was it stolen in Calgary? I haven't heard anything about a stolen lambo recently..

not sure about the rumor, but when a car like that gets stolen then I would assume it's going overseas. Hard to believe that someone would be stupid enough to just paint it and keep it in country. Hope I'm wrong, good luck to your friend.

agreed, nobody with the ability to steal a car like that is going to be stupid enough to drive it around town in kelowna. That car is likely loaded on to a shipping container and headed far far away.

Hopefully the engine blows and those fuckers cant get it fixed.

if someone can steal a 500K + lamborghini I'm sure they are smart enough not to get caught... so it may never be seen again.

Could've been stolen from a shop, detailer, valet, towed, someone stole his spare key and waited.......

Not if it was a crime of opportunity - that doesn't take much brains.

For the person who failed me. Its a quite a big possibility of it happening. It wouldn't have been the first time such a scam has been attempted.

If is stolen recently, then the car will not be out on the street within the next 2-4 years. That car got soo much heat, is not hard to spot it.

i was in kelowna last weekend. I actually saw like 3 lambos and a couple of ferrari's...not sure if they have that kit though..and most of them are from alberta too

Tracking can easily be defeated by putting the car in a container.. it is the perfect Faraday cage.
