where to evacuate my A/C r12

I got a 95 integra and want to do an AC delete. It has r12 and am wondering if anyone knows a cheap and affordable place to go and discharge it.

R12 is worth its weight in gold. I should technically have people doing it for free since its worth more than triple their time, but people like canadian tire want to charge me 290$.............

Anyways, can someone point me in the right direction? I dont wanna be the guy to evacuate it into the ozone... Im trying to be responsible and law-abiding.

Thanks

Legally, you can't just pay any garage to evacuate it. The technician must be certified to handle the refrigerant and must dispose it accordingly to regulations.

A lot of places offer such services, but due to the trouble of disposing such refrigerant, it isn't cheap (around CDN tire prices). If it's a backdoor garage, I can't say much about the price... nor their disposal methods..

wear a mask and discharge it, usually its just a plug or a nut or something you unscrew on the line and it will come out and sink to the ground. just dont go near it while its all coming out.
