Let's just pick this date tentatively... Wednesday, August 24, 2011 10:45pm-12:00am @ 8 Rinks Rink 6. I want to cap it at 10 skaters and 1 goalie per side (total 22 players) just because this is only a 75min rental. Will divide up the total cost amongst all the skaters (goalies play for free of course.) It will be $15 or less.

I've never rented before but if there is at least 80% interest I would consider putting down a reservation. Does anyone know how the insurance works? Do I need to get it separately or is it factored into the rental cost?

I don't have a log-in for Vancouver Parks Board yet so I don't know what times would be available if you guys want to play at Hillcrest.

I guess I'll start a sign up sheet... hopefully by the time we have enough interest the rink will still be available for booking.

Please indicate if you are a goaltender otherwise it's safe to assume you are a skater. Let's keep it to Revscene members for now but if we don't have enough players we can open it up to friends/family as well.

mickz, insurance is a choice that you have. you can either get it from them and it gets added to the rental cost or if you have a third party insurance you can use that as well. Insurance is not that expensive ($25-$30 i believe) and definitely worth getting in case of "accidents".

I haven't checked my schedule yet but I should be able to make it. I never have work later than 10 on wednesdays anyways.

Why isn't "I choke on breakaways" Raybot on this list?

if you cant find another goalie closer to the day i can play.
ive only played 1 game as a goalie..positioning is way off mostly likely will let in a lot of pucks-->youve been warned
