Usernames or real names?

I'm gonna bring out my helmet cam. Gonna toy with the idea of playing with it during warmup.

Great idea on the masking tape thing. I'm usually bad with names if they're not written down for me. :failed: Yeah, username or real name?

If theres space or anyone drops i'm down! Super noob here, only 1 game under my belt

We should limit the warmup cos ice time is shortened. Just a suggestion

Just come early to warm up. They allow you to start skating prior to your slotted time I think. I know they do at RIC.

Only if the people before our icetime gets off the ice early enough.
Also, at 8 rinks, they do not like it when people get on the ice before the zamboni doors are closed. Please keep that in mind before stepping on the ice.

For my regular drop in session they are VERY prompt with the rental times.
They will cut you off exactly at your allotted time.
And you cannot step on the ice before the resurfacing finishes (dont you wanna wait for ice to dry first anyways).
Just a reminder, please be careful newbies, there is NO addition insurance included in the rental agreement.

you can def tell who the noobs are, because those are the guys that jump on the ice as if it were roller hockey and the surface didn't need to dry... just like eager kids at public saktes lol...

i am sure there will be people on before us.... but they might let us stay after since we are prob the last group

Even without a name it'll be impossible to miss me: I'm the hard of hearing guy with a hearing aid. If you yell at me from the bench and I don't seem to notice, it's because I didn't really understand what you were yelling at me about. :)

Remember, there is NO INSURANCE for this event. While I don't think anybody intends on going out there just to hurt people, accidents do happen. Play at your own risk! I cannot be held liable should you get hurt on the ice.

We have the ice from 10:45pm-12:00am @ Rink #6. I don't know which rooms we will have yet so please look on the screens at the lobby. Go in whichever room has space. We will have about a very small amount of time to warm up the goalies. As soon as they are ready we will drop the puck and play. Please don't deke the goalies or shoot at them when they're not looking at you in the warm up... it's poor etiquette and it increases the chance of injury.

The pay scale remains the same... it will be the total cost of the rental divided by the number of players. Exact change will be appreciated unless you want a ton of loonies in return.

Great fun there tonight even if I spent most of my time falling on my ass, whiffing on the easiest passes, skating around like a headless chicken, and whatnot- but damn if it wasn't a good workout! At least I even got a few points being a pylon. :fullofwin: Definitely looking forward to improving to your guys' level.
