^IMO all black glossy wheels lose their character, for example in the pic above, I can barely make out the spokes(prob. due to lighting, but you get the idea)
I like the wheels though, nice lip. But I would personally go with a silver/brushed metal wheel
something like the ones posted on the previous page http://varrstoen.com/blog/?p=1672

^^ nice find.
but to pull those wheels off, OP needs to lower the car first.

i find that if u'r going the the lip, it has to be at least 19". Otherwise it looo small and a bit out of proportion.

anyone know shops dedicated specifically, or with a large selection of rims around vancouver? i think im just gonna go and check these wheels out in person.
p.s. i love the varrstoen wheels as well, but unfortunately was unable to locate them on ebay (rims are waaaaaayyyyyyyy cheaper on ebay than in stores)

I've always had a thing for the BBS CH or LM on IS models.
or perhaps SSR MS1?

I'd figure out size, offset, etc. and buy a rims+tires package online. Randomly walking to a shop almost guarantee you ending up with something ridiculous like big ass heavy bling blings that weigh a ton each.
Black with polished lip is way too playout and don't even look that great in your pic.

If I were you, I'd go 19" no bigger no smaller,
figure out proper sizing with width and offset (since I'm so into fitment nowadays),
and spend the extra dough for name brand wheels (Volk,BBS,Work etc) since you get mad hood points for $$ JDM wheels

If you like the flush with a little poke I would recommend 19x9.5 22m with 225/35/19 front and 19x10.5 22m 265/30/19 back. That fitment will look pretty sick but it will require rolling fenders. Posted via RS Mobile |

The wheels are dirt cheap to begin with how much cheaper do you want them to be? They are pretty much in your exact budget.
PS. http://stores.ebay.ca/A-Spec-Wheels-...sub=2202736010
Took me 30 seconds to google.
Seems like we should be suggesting Konig, XXR or something. Hope you plan on lowering it too, otherwise it just looks wrong.

as CHEAp as possible
tats why he is cheap buying replicas
ironically people who drives lexus can be just as cheap as people driving a yaris
I rather support local shop than buy it online without the security.
Which item is NOT cheaper on ebay? might as well as buy groceries and have eggs deliver to ur door if it was an option, cuz im sure its cheaper than the local grocery store. And than people bitches OMFG US is this price etc etc
well go live in the states than, i dont see people complaining to the restaurant, gas station, wal-mart telling them to price match.

You could get the replica BBS LM's from the mpautosports place I believe you could find them on Craigslist. The LM's look awesome and they would be a cheaper alternative, and they offer them in 19's plus the right bolt pattern.

well go live in the states than, i dont see people complaining to the restaurant, gas station, wal-mart telling them to price match. | When you can buy rims, coil overs, performance parts, etc. and save up to HALF the price by shipping them to a letter carrier type place right across the border, i think it's a no brainer for anyone who isnt down with wasting money..
my dad has bought parts for his car and save HUNDREDS of dollars on shipping alone, let alone the cost difference of buying online vs local.

IM looking at FX 35 and that alone is $10g difference, the lists goes on
EVERYTHING is cheaper down there, not a single item thats MORE
Nonetheless, we do have some vendors locally that do bring in pretty competitive pricing. AFterall they are here to survive, not charity work. Obviously ripping off a customer is a totally different ball game
anyhow.
