All Nexus S the Same? need to use on WIND

so ive been reading a lot of conflicting stuff that there are 2 versions of the Nexus S and one of them doesnt support AWS?

so any of the local Big 3 have one that will? I have a bunch of gift cards to blow and need to know fast.

EDIT NM there are 2.

so if i get the Wind one, i can run on Rogers as well? i dont use data on Rogers.

As far as I know, the AWS ones will run on rogers/fido etc but only on 2G
