Cell phone for China
I'm going to China in a couple of weeks and need a cell phone while I'm there.

My understanding is I need an unlocked tri-band/quad band cell phone. I'll make the bold assumption there's no realistic way I can use my current iphone there.

Would a phone like this work: Motorola SLVR L7 (Unlocked) Red GSM Quad Band CellPhone | eBay ?

iphone is quad band. it just needs to be unlocked.

or you could buy a $75 Koodo Optimus One locally and unlock it for $3
