The referral doesn't apply to the bts plans.

They gave me referral cards at the broadway one but didn't tell me which plans it applied to.

Don't think you'll have an issue.

Reception is stable. If you're in an area of good reception, it won't suddenly be a dead spot. This has never happened to me and hopefully it will not happen anytime soon.

:fullofwin:

Hopefully they continue to upgrade their networks and it just keeps getting better and better.

Do you have to always set the network when turning on the Nexus S? That's what I seem to always have to do to get a signal and 3G enabled. Maybe I'm just not waiting long enough lol.

Yay for unlimited tethering too :fullofwin:

I've noticed that too and I'm always too impatient to let it auto find. I just search and select for it. But then again, I don't really turn off my phone so I don't need to do it very often.

Weird I seem to be in a dead zone. No signal what so ever. In the queen e area :S

Same situation at my parents' house, near Queen E with them. And I'm not talking inside the house. Right in the back yard, 0 reception/bars.

Normally I just set my Nexus S to Airplane mode and then turn off Airplane mode and within seconds it'll set itself to the Mobilicity network. For me, this method is much faster than going into the network list, waiting for it to load available networks and then selecting it because for some reason it takes forever to load the networks :heckno:

Any comments on the Samsung Galaxy Mini? Looking for an entry level phone that can still do everything (data/app store/wifi/tethering/hotspot)?

Kilinim 10-30-2011 05:12 PM

Just pulled the trigger on the Nexus S!

you didnt want to wait a bit longer until the Galaxy Nexus comes out? the Nexus S would probably be a bit cheaper

When the AWS version is released? who knows?

The Nexus S has already been price dropped from $499 to $350 for most carriers.

Unlikely you will see another price drop in the near future.

he could have just gotten the plan and active it on a cheap phone, like a dumbphone and use it for a few months until the Galaxy Nexus comes out...

What's the difference between the data cap on the 25$ plan and the 40$?

IIRC, there is no difference.

The difference is just the features of the plan but not the limit or cap of the data.
