A little review of Mobilicity after using it for around 2 months for those who are still wondering how the service is like.
Signed up for the back to school $25 plan w/ unlimited data, which comes to around $28 a month but now has dropped to $26 a month with automatic credit card payments. I did not port my number, and unfortunately I wished I could take part in all the crazy offers they have right now.
Service is alright, using the Panache and there's been some occasions where I do not receive any signal (large buildings). I have not experienced any dropped calls. The unlimited data isn't the fastest, but the speed is good for web browsing and HD Youtube videos. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with what I signed up for.
For those who haven't signed up, I do recommend it with all the offers they have right now with porting and trade-ins.

The occasional times coming out of a building/underground it would take longer for a signal to be found, but other than that the speed is fast enough for me to browse/twitter/fb/stream music.
For $26/month for life, it can only get better imo. Get on those port in credits!!

Yeah, the $200 made my next 10 months bills only 11.60
The 25 dollar plan is hot shit for students, not like we going anywhere without coverage. Saving $25/month, little problems in connection > paying 50 or more for the same plan with better connection.
Even better, its guaranteed for life, none of that 3/yr contract crap.
Working it out, if i have this plan for 3 years, i save more than $500 dollars, even with buying a 9360, compared with a $50 rogers plan.
I'm actually pretty happy with this plan, its amazinggg
P.S : anyone know where to get screen protectors in the surrey/metro area? Want to get a few for my 9360

lol.. its a good thing im port out to Wind in a few days after my month is done... even tho Winds data is slow, at least it works...
Mobi is going to die soon, doing these crazy promos one after another... seems they are pretty desperate... So im just thinking its better to get Wind's $29 plan before they take it away... its pretty good deal next to the BTS plan

I really doubt mobi is dying. it's their 1 year anniversary and they want to secure more subscribers. isn't the wind $29 plan only good for one year? at least that's what i've been told. i can't see anything beating the $25 with $2 off.
after switching from rogers to mobi, i have to say that i don't feel that much of a difference. i'm not a heavy data user but it works in most places that i go to. i set up wifi at my school so it automatically connects to that. when im' out of wifi reception, data works for me when i need it to. i also use wifi at home, so no problems there either. i never had a dropped call yet, but there are certain dead spots which isn't a concern for me. it's not like i'm staying in that dead spot for a long time. best switch ever since i would've been paying $50+ at rogers. note: mobi suits my needs, which may not be the same for everyone else.

Just get the telus version. They are identical un every way except the software and the branding. Forget trying to get warranty with a tmobile phone.
On another note, Mobi had a data service disruption due to changes they are making to stop data abusers. This has since been reversed till they figure out wtf happened.
Mobi dying? N#gger, please...

5 GB Soft xaps now being enforced. After 5, you get throttled like a comicbook nerd's dick on a friday night.
