Looking to get the $12.50 plan for my parents. The LG Wink is $50, but when I searched craigslist there are some dealers that are giving it for free if you get the plan. Legit?

It's just their current promo, $25 plan + $10 data for 50% off for the first 6 months, or 12 months if you preauthorize.

The girl screwed up by miscalculateing my plan and didnt add some features. I didn't have caller id for some reason and I just went in and complained about their screwup and how one of the employees offered pretty bad customer service so I got a discount when they fixed it. I think on a normal day they won't do it for me cause today was the black Friday sale and the lineup was pretty massive

I'm actually pretty satisfied with the service right now. Never had a dropped call so far and it definitely has improved since Mobilicity first came to town. I remember 3 bars everywhere and I was on roaming a lot back then

Although I'm hoping this is true, I get the feeling you're going to get screwed a year down the road...

Went stateside to do some shopping today. Added $4.00 to MyWallet last night. 6 texts (3 sent, 3 received) and 2 30 second phone calls later, I only used $1.00 for roaming. Not bad at all.

What did suck is how fast the battery drained because of roaming. Went from 91 to 13% in 6 hours with that roaming use. HTC Panache. When in Vancouver, the battery will last 2-3 days from the same kind of usage.

So my contract with fido is ending on Dec 21,2011. .. I would like to make a switch to mobilicity while keeping my number. How do I do that? Do i go to a mobilicity store to port my number, then tell fido to cancel my contract when my agreement ends?

Just go over to Mobi with your current number and account number. They will port everything over and Fido will cancel itself and bill you one final bill.

You could have also read a few pages back where this was recently asked.

Wow, Asian chick at Commercial and 1st is so noob and lost.
She didn't even know about the port-in credits or how to do things, she had to keep asking the other guy.
Towards then end she drops the phone on the floor scratching it up and tried to play it off like its no big deal.
With all the white markings from the floor and scratches, you get me a new one. -_-

I'm kinda interested in this. Rather than read 30+ pages. Anyone care to share how bad is the reception? Are there dead zones all over the lower mainland? Anyone in Richmond using mobilicity having issues?

Never had no signal so far and never had a dropped call.. I make a lot of calls a day and text all day. Never had problems. Had a lot of muffled calls though. Might just be my blackberry though

1 dropped call, but that was in a tunnel, heh

Also, sometimes data doesnt work when youre crossing the bridge whilst on the skytrain, or in tunnels, etc.

Otherwise, decent service, good for people who dont travel out too far to the dead areas.
