AVS_Racing 12-04-2011 03:58 PM

damn.. does anyone know if the white/ black bezels are the same colour? cuz it looks like you can just change the colour to white by changing the battery cover

stereo12 12-04-2011 04:17 PM

you can just change the back cover.

AVS_Racing 12-07-2011 11:51 AM

is anyone having problems with calls today? I've made almost 10 calls today and when I call I don't hear a dial tone so I don't know if the call is going through or not, its just silent after 20-30 seconds it just ends the call. This is to different numbers too

dinamix 12-07-2011 12:52 PM

yup...no one can get through to me last 3 hours..something like all circuits are busy

Called Mobilicity, waited 20minutes for technical support and was advised by the agent that the network is down everywhere in Canada as of 2pm EST. She said she's not sure if it'll be fixed by tomorrow (pretty scary thing to say) but that "all hands are on deck".

AVS_Racing 12-08-2011 03:53 PM

so anyone using the amaze? any reviews?

How is the network on mobilicity? Im interested on the opinion of current users on how the reception is, such as: dropped calls, no bars, calls not going through/delays, data etc... My contract is up with fido and im on month to month and im contemplating to switch over to mobilicity, 25$ a month is such a good deal and im usually within the lower mainland and rarely if ever in surrey/delta

r6kid 12-09-2011 03:58 PM

Its good for me.. i live around knight +51st area

No call waiting, no call forwarding or 3-way calling.

You can't have it all when you're paying less than half the price rogers is offering.

You could get all the above with a 5 dollars extra..

Anyways @ 25bt +5 bis + 5 calling pack is approx $39.xx after taxes. I am paying the exact same thing with rogers now but no data period just bis and my credits will expire in a year so all in all the switch still seems worthwhile.

Question; If i am on the 25bts plan and I add the 5 bis & 5 call pack does that come out of 'my wallet' or does is it considered part of my monthly plan? Can i also add and remove the two at my discretion, when i pay every month or something?

Do majority of current users even need money in their 'my wallet' for roaming or we are generally covered by mobis unlim zone within the city?

Is the 2off code still working for pre-authorized payments?

1. Both are add-ons and can be removed/taken off when you no longer want or need it. IIRC, they are part of the plan itself and do not require you to do more work getting it out of "your wallet".

2. I keep 10 dollars in there just in case I go to the states or somewhere that I'm roaming and I know I'll be potentially using my cellphone. But around Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Coquitlam, I am seldom roaming.

3. Not too sure if the 2OFF code still works.

civicyvr 12-11-2011 12:51 PM

My friend used the 2off code last week and it worked for him.

Hope it works for you too.

Excelsis 12-11-2011 12:59 PM

Same thing with my mom. Terrible coverage and delayed texts. =S

ShadowBun 12-11-2011 02:34 PM

^never experienced these o_O

yameen 12-11-2011 02:37 PM

never experienced delayed texts either. coverage has been good and no dropped calls.

dasani604 12-11-2011 03:28 PM

Tried out Mobilicity for two weeks. Cancelled my subscription.

I'm mainly in the west side, downtown, and UBC. Of course, nothing was wrong in down town. The issue is everywhere else in Vancouver that I frequented.

With the state that Mobilicity's service is at, it does not fit my needs. Point being, if you truly need reception at almost all times and you live in the west side then I wouldn't recommend it. But try it out anyway, $25 for a month and you can cancel anytime.
