Damn a week in Surrey drove me nuts with Mobilicity. Very little reception in the Fleetwood neighborhood still, and I could only use the phone on the 2nd level of my parents house.

If I move back to Surrey from Toronto, there is absolutely no way I would stay with them. Toronto meanwhile is top notch for reception no matter where you go.

why not go onto roaming? still pretty cheap.

or even get a prepaid sim @ 7-11 still cheaper than RoBeluS

I expect reception to be adequate when I am in urban areas and their coverage zone.

I'll hope it improves over the next year or so.

i do too but we know thats no the reality of budget carriers. to save $ I'm willing to sacrifice a little.

So far my service has been adequate for what i'm paying. Also i'm not using a $50 phone. (not sure what you got)

I don't need 24/7 service so I'm ok. Buisness owners probably shouldn't risk it.

One of the Mobi mods @ howardforums mentioned more speed coming. however no real details as to what it meant. no throttling? higher overall speed? maybe both?

LUUUUUUUU 05-09-2012 02:54 PM

anybody know if they're currently offering any port in credit for switching to mobi? or if they will have another port in credit promo coming up?

HTC, so it's not the phone, especially when I always get full bars around Toronto.

I really like Mobilicity a lot, and their customer service is top notch so I really hope they can improve around the Vancouver area soon.

Would be nice where the time i rarely use data to google something it doesn't take dial up times to load. not that i'm complaining but if they're going to improve something, that i'd say that would be a start.

Psykopathik 05-14-2012 01:16 PM

CEO tweeted that "faster speeds are coming this summer."

we can only hope.

Go with wind instead, you won't regret it. If you don't use data, go with the $25 plan, if you do then obviously go with the $40 one.
