I've noticed a couple of times now while at home I would have a phone signal but there would be no signal for Data. I least I could use my home's wifi Posted via RS Mobile |
I noticed some weird stuff too. I chalk it up to growing pains as they build their network. |
despite all the small issues, i think back, "I only paid only $25 for all this unlimited action" and ignore the problems :p |
Signed up 2 weeks ago for the $25/month with free data add-on I'm very satisfied with the reception, not many drops in signals and stays around 2-3 bars. Picked up the Panache, I love this phone so much. As a former iPhone user, I wouldn't switch back. Android operating system rocks :) Posted via RS Mobile |
TBH, the reception isnt really that good. But instead of the Nexus S I recommend the HTC Panache. The buttons really conquer over the touch buttons because you might accidently press the touch buttons and get fustrated. |
Agreed. I love my Panache, especially coming from an older BB. |

Battery isnt that good though. I get a full day + 25% left during light use, 5% left during moderate use. |
so what is the actual cost per month? is it just $25+ HST? $28/mo ? |
yep |
Did anyone try roaming voice and text? Does it work for you? |
hm... lol ive never noticed that i roam if i go to odd places usually i just get no signal |
can cyanogenmod be installed on the htc panache? |
plan has been extended till around end of this month. total cost is $28 after tax. no multi month discount. |

things that EAT batteries: widgets, especially live ones that keep updating like weather and news. live/animated wallpapers wifi/bluetooth GPS/location services bad network signal reception/roaming auto brightness |
so, i have the koodo nexus s will this work with mobilicity? |
looking to switch to Mobilicity from Fido but I still have about $225 in Fido dollars left. Anyone know if any of the current Fido phones would be compatible with Mobilicity? http://www.fido.ca/web/page/portal/Fido/Smartphones Thanks |
Other phone companies that work include T-Mobile, Wind Mobile. That is all. I think some quad band phones might work if unlocked. Might be wrong. |
Mobilicity’s network uses AWS, with bands 1700/2100. If your phone could run on those bands and it's unlocked, you're good to go |
