I noticed some weird stuff too. I chalk it up to growing pains as they build their network.

despite all the small issues, i think back, "I only paid only $25 for all this unlimited action" and ignore the problems |

Signed up 2 weeks ago for the $25/month with free data add-on
I'm very satisfied with the reception, not many drops in signals and stays around 2-3 bars.
Picked up the Panache, I love this phone so much.
As a former iPhone user, I wouldn't switch back.

TBH, the reception isnt really that good. But instead of the Nexus S I recommend the HTC Panache. The buttons really conquer over the touch buttons because you might accidently press the touch buttons and get fustrated.

looking to switch to Mobilicity from Fido but I still have about $225 in Fido dollars left. Anyone know if any of the current Fido phones would be compatible with Mobilicity? http://www.fido.ca/web/page/portal/Fido/Smartphones
Thanks

Other phone companies that work include T-Mobile, Wind Mobile. That is all.
I think some quad band phones might work if unlocked. Might be wrong.

Mobilicity’s network uses AWS, with bands 1700/2100.
If your phone could run on those bands and it's unlocked, you're good to go
