WEEK 7 - TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 27 TO SUNDAY OCTOBER 2 Challenge: !!!WEAK ARM!!! ONE ARM DUMBELL ROW kneeling on bench (*with HALF of your body weight worth of weight). as many as you can in a row rules: With your weak hand. Use a full range of motion from full extension to pulling the dumbell as high as you can. Keep your body locked in position, do not jerk or swing or cheat the movement. why?: A fantastic exercise for your back, shoulders, arms, and grip! One Arm Dumbbell Row Video & Instructions Video & Instructions | Muscle & Strength *eg. if you weigh 180lbs, you should be holding a 90lb dumbell If you are unable to do half of your bodyweight, lift as much as you can lift for more than 5 reps and make a note of it in your results. Post up your results as follows or they wont be included in the results: Revscene - 10 seconds @ 180lbs this is strictly for fun, so use your own honor and don't cheat. |

dhillon09 - 5 @ 110lbs but the dumbbell was impossible to grip. Why the hell does SC have such wide gripped dumbbells? They'd be good for pushing exercises but IMO they SUCK for pulling exercises. So much extra strain its so hard on my wrists/forearm. I couldn't even find the 110lb skinny grip ones. :okay: Will try again if I can find the skinny 110's. |
