I've said it before, I'll say it again...glucosamine & chondroitin. I swear by that shit lol

Never really did body-weight bench press except for warmup.

Hoping to get at least 15-20ish @ 155lb

XplicitLuder 08-29-2011 01:49 PM

weight : 280

bench : 5 @ 185 :okay:

Spidey 08-29-2011 03:37 PM

bench : 20@165lbs.

i actually did this last week after the leg challenge just to see how I would compare... I am going to try it again as it COULD have been 15, but i remember thinking I did the same reps in both.. will try again later this week and update the numbers.

Fcukedd 08-30-2011 09:55 AM

Fcukedd 16 @ 155lb

Did it midway through my chest workout LOL so I was pretty fatigued. I'll try again on Saturday when I'm fresh.

strykn 08-30-2011 12:25 PM

i dont care if any lightweight goes over 31 reps, hal0 wins

dachinesedude 08-30-2011 12:38 PM

i can bench press my weight with DB's but cant with barbell

:seriously:

keepz1 08-30-2011 01:19 PM

to big a difference in peoples weight

we should do a challenge where everyone does the same weight or like how GSP does his fan challenges (fingertip push-ups or one arm pull ups etc)

going to try to do 25 reps at 205 lets see how it goes

hal0g0dv2 08-30-2011 06:29 PM

if we did the same weight then that would be worse, if there was a one plate bench challenge i could prob do 100+ reps

Spidey 08-30-2011 07:02 PM

I don't see why it is a disadvantage if you were bigger... it is proportionate to your size and stature... If you want to get technical, the only real accurate way to make it fair is weight and body fat % so at least you know how much of your weight is active muscle tissue.. but we can't.. so this is the next best thing.. if you are fat and weak.. suck it up

bro what about range of motion?
shorter arms and legs is much easier than longer ones

Berzerker 08-30-2011 08:03 PM

Tell me about it... I'm 6'3" and I see guys doing half the range of motion I have sometimes cuz they got short little arms haha. Just a note Hal0 is 6'6" so think about THAT range of motion...

Berz out.
