where to buy such item

i want a keychain like the one that is on the flip key/fob.
where can i buy it? anyone know what it's called? special name?

You are talking about the detaching thing, right? I got mine from Surrey Honda. Came with the car. I broke one, so I asked them for another. They gave me a couple. I'm sure any key shop would have them.

I bought mine from Canadian tire. Just head to the department where they cut keys and you will find it for sure.

Rona on Grandview Hwy. has them, although overpriced at $5.60. They did look stronger and well built.

Like I said, mine broke after a few years. Nothing worse than a key chain falling apart on you.

You can get them at almost any key cutting shops and large retail stores.

Speaking of Keys, I stopped hanging shit on both my keys because the loop broke. Things you think that won't break will malfunction/break on a VW.
