lol, Nothing fancy about my pole. Just use whatever works, get creative. In the past I used a hockey stick, the nose of my skateboard, the suction cup thingy it comes with, I've even held it on its own just like you've mentioned before. Nothing wrong with that as long as the footage looks great.

I might bring mine but I'm not so sure on it. It gets dark fairly fast around that time so I won't get the best natural lighting but we'll see. It all depends on if I really feel like lugging all of the gear.
