Sweet. If you can just use market enabler I would definitely try it. The other method from xda was deemed unsafe due to killing the secure element chip.

So I'm guessing JordanLee you used this thread?

BTW, for me the Market Enabler app in the market was not compatible with my GN so for those who have the same problem here is the apk:

As I've mentioned in a couple of posts above. Be careful when using the XDA method which you've posted.

I've given up because it won't let me add a card. It just sits at the adding card loading and then comes up as failed even after resets and uninstalls. I didn't get the Secure Element Error though hopefully I didn't break my chip

I was on Team Kang's Maguro 24 build which had Wallet pre-installed. I since updated to build 26 and Wallet wasn't incorporated due to legal issues. So I just went back to my Titanium Backup and restored it and all worked fine. I'm on 4.03 as well, then I used Market Enabler and you have to physically hold down on T-Mobile to switch it over. Clicking it does nothing.

Got into Google Wallet and even though it asked me to add a card, I just selected cancel and scrolled over to the Google Gift Card and the $10 was already there. You can either use an American CC to add funds to this Google Gift card or buy a Vanilla Mastercard and add it in that way. May just get my cousin who lives in the states to spot me some so I can buy stuff with it without incurring the 5$+ activation fee.

How is build 26 of AOKP anyways? I've been sticking with Android Revolution builds since I got my Nexus but thinking of finally switching over.

To be honest, I absolutely love it. So many little tweaks inside ROM control and I've never had a restart loop or random shutdown on me yet and it's been over a month. Battery life is miles ahead of stock and the power saver feature is great in class or when I barely turn the screen on. Little tweaks like holding power button when screen is off to turn on torch is what makes things a lot easier. I tried Manhattan and it wasn't too stable for me.

Yeah. Those were also the main reasons I stuck with android revolution Hd. Stability and battery life. But looking at changing things up a bit

i got market enabler working for that first link for my GN...you have to make sure you don't have forced GPU rendering under your dev settings though. Make sure you hold down US T-Mobile to actually spoof it.

As long as you reset it before you switch ROMs there shouldn't be any problems.

just a quick warning to everyone

HD SAMOLED screen are not only known to have defective banding issues but are also prone to ghosting/burn-in

http://androidforums.com/verizon-gal...es-normal.html
http://www.google.ca/support/forum/p...hl=en&start=40

I was playing GTA III today and i put it on pause (goes to menu) for 10 minutes. The screen didn't sleep and when I return to the game I noticed temporary burn in/ghosting that lasted ~30 seconds. Good thing it's complete gone but I was just surprised such a short time can cause what originally appeared to be a serious burn in.

I love the screen but god damn the QA for it is terrible...no excuse even if it's a new technology. I am just surprised there have not been crazy reports of the soft button burning in...

Hmm anyone using Kang - Maguro 27? XDA thread says 26, so not sure if 27 is stable or not?

Will there be a battery % on the pull down menu like Manhattan?
