Hmmm... so fido told me to go get a new SIM card. It's on them.
Question is. Would it matter if i get micro (with outter plastic attached or original SIM?

technically the same but micro-sim+plastic adapter may not fit all phones' sim slots.

I'm currently using the micro-adapter with my Nexus.
But I ask this, do you have an iPhone 4? If not, then you should just buy a normal sim.

Since you said you're using a Yakju Update on your Yakjuux phone, your bootloader is probably already unlocked (unless you locked it back again)
the fastboot command you need is: Code: fastboot flash radio blahblahblah.img If this is over your head, let me know and I'll type up a little guide for you.

my battery cover developed creaking above the sim card slot
is it safe for me to put a piece of paper/thin padding between the slot and the back cover...shouldn't be a fire hazard without not directly touching the battery, yeah?

Pretty damn near impossible for a phone to be a fire hazard. If it is it won't from be a little piece of paper or padding to be the cause of it.

I have b31 installed, but after putting Sensation on my boss' Galaxy SII and noticing how smooth everything ran on it, I'm wondering if there's a smoother Galaxy Nexus rom than AOKP. Thoughts?

I downloaded it for the soul purpose of having an updated Rom Control application and it keeps force closing on me every time I try to customize.
Re-installed several times.

Hey guys I want to get a white WhatsApp icon for my lockscreen but no matter what I do there is always a black background. On my computer it shows that the background is transparent but not on my phone. It's already a PNG which is supposed to support transparency right?

That's where I got my icon from. I also tried inverted the colours to make the icon white. But whenever I change it to png/jpg there will be a background of white or black on my lockscreen. :S
