Radio is always optional but often a good idea to flash. In this case it is a European radio and it may not be optimal for us here in North America.
You can flash it anytime in cwm recovery.

How do you change the default app launch after setting one to "always" already?
And anyone notice the in browser video player is TERRIBLE? and the odd thing was, a few times it automatically loaded bsplayer to view the videos (i was using xvideos for this.)
help anyone?

most of my browsing is now through feedly and flipboard, I'm sure most people who do serious browsing on their phones would use these services?

so Mikroft how is ARHD on 4.1 | 5.0.1 feels the same as the other builds. Battery life still isn't awesome but I think it's the kernel I'm using. I'll switch over to Franco kernel maybe in a few days.

I've got flash 11 installed from the market; kind of glad I did it before I moved over to JB.
I've had no issues or force-closes yet; it's my understanding that especially launchers that aren't compatible with JB's new filesystem don't like it and crash with it.
I'm having pretty good battery life with the stock kernel from the XDA thread; basically the same as when I was running PA and Linaro. It's so odd, though. My Quadrant score dropped by almost half since swapping back to stock from Linaro; but I am more than twice as happy with my phone now. FTMFW. Really can't wait for a Paraniod Android Jellybean though. That'll be most wonderfully epic.
See.lai; you can go with either and you'll do well I think. The S3 right now has slightly better specs in terms of LTE capability on RoBellus and the incrementally larger screen, as well as the nice 8MP camera. The Nexus however, has the benefit of being a directly google phone. If you're looking for a long-term device, that might be the deciding factor. An old coworker of mine has a Nexus S, and Google has promised to even roll out Jellybean for her, which means the Nexus Galaxy will be good for at least another iteration of Android(Key Lime Pie anyone?), while the GS3 would be lagging and potentially not supported (like all of the other Galaxy S phones don't take ICS or JB).

Quadrant is not a really reliable benchmark anyway so I wouldn't worry too much about the score.

Also. I was still able to download flash but it only works on browser and not chrome. Also, chrome can't play embedded videos. Its terrible!
I'd switch back to browser but I love chrometophone extension on PC and the how it pops up a bigger window when u click on tiny links close together.
Arg. Anyone else notice the video problems on chrome?

^You could never play flash videos on Chrome. HTML5 is fine though like YouTube. But streaming videos online you'll have to use Firefox/Dolphin.

flash can stll be downloaded from play store till aug15
but the apk will be available afterwards
its just support thats pulled, use firefox if you still want flash
btw i fucking love GoogleNow, it knows i drink and like to read..and been to the ballroom numerous times.. it recommends places close to work. and also offers to check into 4sq LOL  | |

Mine is always at about 40% and I can get around 2.5 hours screen on time with probably the same battery life as yours. Tough to decide to jump or not, the custom roms always have little features that I value
