Roaming in the states

What's the cheapest way to roam data in the states?

Will be going Portland and Seattle for a week.

Get a prepaid package from Fido BEFORE going.

Or better yet, get a SIM from a US provider, plug it into your phone, and pay-as-you-go.

Call your provider and ask them. They'll have rates you can buy

I got that with Rogers for an extra $80 included texting, mins and data. Went to Vegas for 4 days, used it constantly (mostly data to google stuff) and still ended up using less than $80 worth.
Depends what you're using it for, sometimes it's not worth it.

If you really need it, you can find free wifi in the states easy.

Roaming plans are $$$.

WiFi is everywhere nowadays, so you actually don't have to worry about it as much as you think.

And if you're using an iPhone, I recommend netTalk. Free WiFi calling FTW.

if your phone's unlocked just buy a cheap data pay as you go sim. Every hotel has WiFi. Un chain yourself

which carrier has the cheapest data pay as you go?
