Roaming in the states What's the cheapest way to roam data in the states? Will be going Portland and Seattle for a week. |
Get a prepaid package from Fido BEFORE going. Or better yet, get a SIM from a US provider, plug it into your phone, and pay-as-you-go. Posted via RS Mobile |
Call your provider and ask them. They'll have rates you can buy Posted via RS Mobile |
use free wifi at starbucks and mcdonalds |
^ I wanna be able to use twitter and email on the go lol -.- If i call Fido, will they offer me something better than what's on their website right now? |

Depends what you're using it for, sometimes it's not worth it. If you really need it, you can find free wifi in the states easy. Posted via RS Mobile |
Roaming plans are $$$. WiFi is everywhere nowadays, so you actually don't have to worry about it as much as you think. And if you're using an iPhone, I recommend netTalk. Free WiFi calling FTW. |
if your phone's unlocked just buy a cheap data pay as you go sim. Every hotel has WiFi. Un chain yourself |
which carrier has the cheapest data pay as you go? |
