Anybody else notice that lately the google ads (assumption) lately have gotten much more aggressive?
Not just on revscene, but everywhere.
Also I would get the normal ads I used to see all the time for 1 second, then it would all of a sudden change to Ads for online dating websites.

StylinRed 09-05-2012 07:27 PM

Bill Clinton just showed everyone how to give a speech

Last night's speech by First Lady wasn't bad, either. Best I've heard from any First Lady. Period.

An used car dealership, like kabani auto but not them, is abusing their DEMO License plate, driving it to the condo garage, leave it overnight and driving it back. It has been going on every day and weeks from now. Should ICBC know about this?

murd0c 09-06-2012 10:38 AM

Whats the point of ratting them out? No one likes rats.....

i-VTEC 09-06-2012 10:45 AM

So when you see people stealing, you don't say anything?

murd0c 09-06-2012 10:56 AM

What are they stealing? out of anything they are just fucking over ICBC which is ok in my books since they fuck us over non-stop. They could also be driving the car to see if there are any issues with it.

i-VTEC 09-06-2012 11:04 AM

doesn't benefit us but benefit to those dealers people. Those car sales people don't even have to pay insurance yet they are driving like they insured the car.

ICBC increases price due to fake claims etc.. they should also focus on those people who fraud against them like abusing DEMO license plate usage. Shouldn't treated as every day use car for employees to travel between work and home.

I say go for it and rat on them.

Would you trust an insurance company if you find out they throw out year old documents with no E version of the document, in order to save space?

Business is business is business, if they are not doing shit properly who know what other shortcuts they are making in their shop/dealership, which in turns screws US or whoever buys from that company. You should out their name so I know never to buy from them.

Also, its not your job to determine if they are at fault, thats ICBC's job. When you tell ICBC of your concern they potentially launch an investigation which in turn they will decide if its an abuse of demo plate or not. So even if you rat, if they have a valid reason like "testing the car out for long term problems" or something like murdoc said, then they keep doing what they are doing and everything is okay.

melloman 09-06-2012 11:09 AM

It's okay murd0c.. we had this chat in RS chat and clearly he wasn't happy with my respone (same as yours)

i-VTEC 09-06-2012 11:12 AM

just talking here, not angry or anything, after all it is off topic thread

But what makes even more worse, the dealership parked using visitor parking slot

"testing the car out for long term problems" I doubt those small used auto dealers are they keen on testing cars. Even if its true, 2 weeks is enough (consider I see it every day), but i have seen it in my condo garage for at least a month or more.

btw, who knows those cars they are testing are actually for sale, it could be one of their personal cars but just slap on demo plate, instead of actually being insured.

murd0c 09-06-2012 11:26 AM

Whats your issue with this company?

i-VTEC 09-06-2012 11:35 AM

Nothing, except he is screwing ICBC over while ICBC is screwing over us, but not him as he doesn't even have to pay insurance at all. Just use demo license plate to go every where. Btw the dealership is Chinese own, probably from those mainlanders.

I will be alright, if he does it once or twice per week, but every day???

Also the dealer is located in Vancouver, while they park at the condo in Richmond, if its actually close, I don't mind it, but this tells you they use it for every day work car

murd0c 09-06-2012 11:48 AM

Do you think you get an award for reporting him or something? calling ICBC won't do much cause he will make some BS up and they will listen to him. Life is too short to stress about stupid shit like this. Do what you want tho but personally I think you should do a better job at picking your battles

i-VTEC 09-06-2012 12:00 PM

Not really stress about this, just want to be fair, when those mainlanders are benefiting while screwing us honest people at the same time.

Bringing this out, only it in a off topic thread, if this was a really big deal, I would have wrote it in a brand new thread

mb_ 09-06-2012 12:05 PM

Some dealerships allow their staff to take home cars and they have to use a demo plate.
