Earlier this evening, I was eating a burger at the Save On Foods across from coq centre. These two Americans came up to me and asked me how my burger was. Then they proceeded to tell me about how our "100% Canadian Beef" is made from scraps and their American beef is from real steak. Then he told me that Canada is fucked and the US was corrupt before but now with Elon Musk & DOGE (which they needed to mention that it was a meme come true), RFK, and Trump, America is saved. Following that, he proceeded to tell me about how all of our banking institutions will cease to exist after June 30, 2026 per the Bank Act of Canada Section 21. The best part? They're currently here in Canada to investigate our government corruption and banking scandal. Their words, not mine https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...19326a7dea.jpg Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk |
You must feel so special for them to have chosen you to enlighten with all their knowledge |
it's prob cause he said smt about how Canadian burgers aren't real burgers, and I said I get it cause I crave American burgers, with all the grease and American cheese hits diff. Then cue - weird Republican conspiracy theorist shit. Also re-read the last sentence, I added an edit cause i forgot the best part of the story. |
What a sad state of affairs… |

Sounds like those two American retards jumped at the first piece of "DoInG My OwN ReSeArCH" and ran with it. |
How are people so fucking retarded able to survive. |
BIC_BAWS, the Save On Foods in North Vancouver at Park & Tilford also serve the burgers. |
TIL people eat burgers at Save-On. I had no idea that was a thing. Is it really better/cheaper than actual burger joints? Even failing that, is White Spot that far gone? |
we had a meet there like a week ago lol. cant speak for the burgers as i had pizza, but they looked really legit like restaurant quality, fries looked good too. also the best part is the basic burger and fries is 11.99 and no tip prompt. |

Man, I would have picked up the chair and chucked it at them. I am tired of seeing and hearing this trump shit, keep that shit down south. Also the overpass guy hanging the upside down flag, makes me want to chuck a fucking engine piston at him from my truck. |

What impresses me more is how huge of a push back there's been since all these threats against our country happened. 4 Nations victory added a gigantic sweetener on top of all the surging Canadian pride. We may not agree on everything in this country but by and large the vast majority of us absolutely reject that bullshit they have going on south of the border. |
canadians who love america would want dual citizenship but they wouldnt want to actually sacrifice their canadian citizenship even if they think we are living in some kind of "3rd world country" here. |
Keep seeing comments on YouTube etc stating the US is the world’s most advanced Third World Country |
Does anyone understand Vancouver parking tax? One time my parking was $7 for an hour (already pretty steep) and the total worked out to be $9.11. That's like 30% tax ... wtf?! Good thing it was work related and expense-able. |
There's a parking levy, which you pay, and then you levy your GST and PST on top. Which means you get taxed on tax. It's the same for most levies it's annoying. The electronics disposal fee is a flat levy on your purchase based on the type of electronic, then you pay tax on top of it. I believe same on the luxury car levy for >$100k |
I believe it's called a Translink tax. I had to look this up cause I too had the same reaction when parking in DT last month, also expensable but I've never seen anything like it. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...e86981e906.jpg No PST tho Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk |
