Somebody help me... My Internet's fucked up and I can't seem to find out why. It says I'm connected to my network, but I can't browse at all. Funny thing is I diagnosed with the troubleshooter but it says there are no problems with my connection. I looked into my wireless properties, it says I have internet access, but my IPv6 says I have no network access... Not sure if that is the problem, but if it is, can anybody tell me how to fix it? Scanned for viruses twice, no issues. Been on RS mobile for two days and I can't make threads in the relevant forum with the mobile site either :fuuuuu: I googled everything already on my phone, but none of it is helping.

Can anybody help? I've run out of options and it's getting frustrating as fuark :tears:

It may not be a virus, but just spyware that is stopping you from accessing any popular web portals to search how to get rid of it.

It could also just be a prolonged ISP issue. Maybe they cut you off for over-bandwidth.

Go to your command prompt (windows key + r, type in cmd), and type "ipconfig /release" without quotations. Then type "ipconfig/ renew". If you pull an IP you're "connected" to your ISP and it's a local problem.

If you have trouble renewing then it's internet connection problem.

Sounds like spyware.

Every PC should have two programs installed...
1. Malwarebytes
2. SuperAntiSpyware
(go to download.com and download them)

Download both and run them. This usually clears up problems like slow PC speed, opening errors, programs crashing, and other random things that are annoying as hell that fcuk up your PC

PC Tools - Spyware Doctor is also a great program. Though, it's useless without an activation key. So either buy one or just find one online.

But, I'm certain that if you download malwarebytes and SAS, that will solve your problem.

I have MBAM and I ran it. It took out two things that I didn't know of and restarted, but that didn't solve anything. I don't know how I'm gonna be able to download SAS without a connection though. Thanks for the pointers :joy:

I would also unplug your router and cable/dsl modem as well. This sometimes helps.
Make sure all the wires are plugged in tight.

Then run the windows wizard thing to trouble shoot the problem. Hopefully that works!
