Challenger is also largely unchanged since 2008.
All they did was change the interior in 2015 and add a supercharger.

Durango is a LOT of fleet purchase.
Solid car, it's an ML/GL underneath with a better transmission, simpler infotainment, and a HEMI.
Most of my German car guy buds are pretty happy with the rentals they've had.

They are bringing the HEMI 5.7 and 6.4 back for higher end Jeeps, lower end RAM, and the Challenger next year.

I'm curious about the V8 thing. I guess the Hurricane turbo just isn't working out for them or the cost per unit is too high.

Am I gonna get detained by the border if I cross to Bellingham to grab some outstanding packages? lol

Anyone concerned or is it a nothing burger?

They have punk rock karaoke there. Nothing puts all my interests together like naked women and singing punk rock.

RAM fucked up - buyer skepticism was confirmed when cooling issues lowered Hurricane tow ratings even though they have more power/torque.

2026 will fix that with RAM 1500 getting Supercharged 6.2, 5.7, and now the 6.4 for first time.
2500/3500 trucks will get the ZF8 for the first time (really big deal btw).
2027 Dodge Charger will get the Hellcat motor as a halo, which will have 2/4 door variants along with AWD.

When the mid-size Cherokee launches, Grand Cherokee and L variants will drop V6 for an updated 2.0T and 4XE.
New midsize RAM truck will likely offer these two and a variant of RE-EV... which the Pacifica will probably get too.

CBSA attracts the most power-tripping mall cop security guard types imaginable.

Anyone going to the auto show this week? Not a lot of brands - seems to get worse each year.

It's spring break so I'm probably gonna take my kid to it tomorrow afternoon to kill a few hours. If you use the BC Hydro promo code (BCHYDROEV) it's half price.

The only cars that I even like anymore... are the ones with a key to start the ignition, zero buttons you have to push to disable any bullshit traction control, and putting your foot to the floor still spins the motor to redline right before you drop the clutch.

There's going to be a stage prepped rally car at the rally association booth at least.

Tesla has been removed from the autoshow due to safety concerns.

Fuck new cars are all so gay.

The most reliable vehicles I have ever owned were my Integras and my K-car based 80's and early 90's Chryslers. Fucking things were unkillable, and if and when I had to finally change parts, the parts were so cheap from RockAuto that it cost more to ship the part than the cost of the part.

@CivicBlues he's not stuck in the 2020s... he's stuck in the 90s.

My buddy got tariffed coming back into Canada. They added 25% tariff and taxed him only on the 25% that was tariffed.

So if his item was $100, he paid $25 tariff and then paid tax on the $25.

He also told me they were pretty rude to him and even yelled at him when he got into the office to pay because when he got in there he was looking around (he's never been pulled in before)... lol, he's a brown guy so not sure if that matters or not. He's a nice brown guy though.

I think alot of those people in there are recently divorced or have serious self esteem problems that they project on whatever race / person they dont like. I feel bad for international people getting treated like ass.

Might as well put a blind fold on the people if your so worried about them looking around.

Ive never had a bad time with them, minus getting red flagged each time i drive thru (and they find nothing, what a surprise)

But this one time this inbred guy was having a day, could see it on his face, he was quietly talking to me, but facing his monitor, could barely hear him, after a few questions i say "you gotta speak up, cant hear you"
He looks me dead in the eyes, "how about you turn off your engine so you can hear me and pop the trunk?"
Me "okay" as i roll my eyes.
Buddy guy gets out of his booth, and finds NOTHING in my boot, "off you go"

"Thanks"

What a fucking loser

The 90's and 00's were FUCKING AMAZING.

Ever notice movies and TV never cover these times? Just ClubVibes.com should have a documentary made about that site alone. There was so much magic during this period, but if young people today had any idea how absolutely glorious life was right up around 1-2 years after the smart phone, they'd riot in the streets.

Now life is just one big shit test where reality is shaped by billionaire algorithms and serendipity is a long lost dream.
