If the Tello ev truck ever gets build it will sell like crazy. 5.5 foot bed, seats 5, the size of a mini so you can park it anywhere. Perfect vehicle for people living in the city.

PeanutButter 03-21-2025 02:49 PM

Yikes, that car is small. I don't know how safe I would feel in that Tello EV. Any front end collision looks like a death sentence. Legs would be toast for sure.

Badhobz 03-21-2025 02:53 PM

Meh, nowadays I think we are only a steps away from putting my fat ass torso on a Boston dynamics chassis and go kick in 69stylez door…..

Herrreeeesssssss Hobbzy !!!!!!

68style 03-21-2025 02:58 PM

You could just fall asleep while it jogs you here on a nice day

Badhobz 03-21-2025 02:59 PM

It’s better be powered by spite and resentment….. I wouldn’t wanna fuel it up with some kind of a clean energy resource like faggoty electricity. Even then it better be burning whales or koalas

It's the best for road trips since they have a tonneau cover, so the luggage stays dry and you get the absolute comfort of a big ass truck.

My dream car lineup would be:
1. Panamera
2. F150 full sized cab
3. BMW X5

It covers all the needs. If I didn't have kids, I'd swap the Panamera for a 911.

Curious why X5 and F150. I'd imagine the F150 can do anything the X5 can. If you can fit a F150 you'll never drive the X5

I would swap the Panamera for the 911 regardless of kids based on my friend's Panamera + X5 ownership experience (she was swayed into the Panamera by her teenage son). In her case, the X5 covered all her retired suburban mom needs and found the Porsche sitting around 95% of the time.

RIP George Foreman

The way it is today, it’s still more of a handful to drive, doesn’t have auto park, and gets really sketchy over bumps unless you have IRS from the lightning.

That said… a Sierra EV is now leasing at $520/mo in the states. GM is throwing in 15-20k incentive.

It has a 14 inch crumple zone up front. It's should be way safer they any Kei truck.

Recruiting for the army sure looks different these days...

Rest in peace, George Foreman.

George Foreman, the fearsome heavyweight who lost the “Rumble in the Jungle” to Muhammad Ali before his inspiring second act as a 45-year-old champion and a successful businessman, died Friday night. He was 76.

Foreman’s family announced his death on social media.

“A devout preacher, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grand- and great-grandfather, he lived a life marked by unwavering faith, humility and purpose,” his family wrote.

Anyone here using Cursor and Claude 3.7 AI to code with?

Back like 10 years ago, I had hired a few people to code for me, and I was building a piece of software to make even MORE money... but I had no coding experience or software development experience, and I was still getting fat paid and had so many hot chicks still that I was constantly distracted. After months of paying people and working on it, the app was janky as fuck and never worked properly, and I had a guy in Bangladesh, a guy in the Philippines, a Russian guy, and a dude in Vancouver and I was all paying them to code various parts of this app to make more money... and then the Russian guy went on a vodka bender, got arrested, and then contacted me in 2017 offering to send me $5 in rubles as an apology. Shit never got off the ground!

Now?

Fucking holy shit, Cursor and the AI... my God... I'm getting this app built so fucking fast.

Anyone else using Cursor and/or the AI to code with? Still learning the little nuances about coding like this, but hot DAMN... it is working beyond all of my expectations! Still don't have the balls to use YOLO mode or the Claude 3.7 MAX mode that charges 5 cents per instruction.

I'm not using Cursor or Claude, but I gave in and bought chatgpt plus. Man it's so much better than free, it almost feels unlimited but I very quickly went from impressed to concerned. While chat limits feel unlimited, I feel like I'm running into memory or bug issues. Perhaps its the complexity of what I want it to do - analyze 5 databases (4 excel, 1 word doc) for product content and confirm which companies match xyz criteria. It doesn't seem that hard to me, I'm just lazy. But I swear I've spent more time talking to ChatGPT than had I just done it myself.

It should be as simple as:
1. Parse and process all data.
2. Check to see which companies match data
3. Give me my result.

But apparently, checks & balances (safeguards) aren't automatically built in and are not obvious to AI. I'm doing it so step by step, I might as well have just hired some guy from Bangladesh to do this.

I bet I could accomplish this for you in 5 minutes using a Python script with AI assist via the API.

Mainly because the wife would be driving the X5 and I would be driving the panamera. And the F150 would be there as the extra car.

But thinking about it, maybe the 911 over the panamera would make more sense. If I knew I was grabbing the kids, I could just take the F150

Pain in the ass to clean tho

Jason00S2000 03-23-2025 10:18 PM

Anyone here still have a GFG or GFG-similar grill?

I used to make the fucking BEST sandwiches ever:

Italian roll brushed with garlic butter
Juicy meatballs seasoned & browned, and simmered in marinara sauce infused with garlic, basil, and a touch of red pepper flakes
Provolone or mozzarella layered inside the sandwich
Fresh basil, peppers, and/or onions chopped

Take that split-open bread layered with cheese, put the basil, red pepper, onion, or banana pepper, whatever you don't need it, then pour the meatballs and sauce on top and then throw it in the grill on the lowest setting for a crispy finish

Add a glass of red wine, or a bottle, and make it for your date, but not too much garlic unless you want her farting constantly. Cannot go wrong with that sandwich. So fucking tasty I wish I had a grill to make one on now.

Foreman sold his shares in his grill business for almost $150 million in 1999. he barely made $5 million as a boxer.

but, by far my favourite stat, is that George gave all his sons the same name. lmaooo

Damn it. Misread that as Sienna EV and got excited.

And GM was going to chip in a 15-20k incentive too, how kind!

I need my glasses.

^ everyone had that grill...

His five sons are George Jr.; George III ("Monk"); George IV ("Big Wheel"); George V ("Red"); and George VI ("Little Joey").
"I named all my sons George Edward Foreman so they would always have something in common. I say to them, 'If one of us goes up, then we all go up together, and if one goes down, we all go down together!'

His seven daughters are Natalia, Leola, Freeda, Michi, Georgetta, Isabella, and Courtney.
