not that much of a fan but my cousin and i have this thing where we want to watch all the classic famous ppl perform before they die ;)

guess its scalper tickets now -_-

I wanted a pair for my parents Christmas gift. The tix went on sale at 10am on Fri, Sep 14 and I tried getting a pair at the time. The ticketmaster CAPTCHA thing was ridiculously hard, and by the time I got through, nothing was available except for singles!

Tons of tickets available on the ticket agent sites though...

I'm the same way, not the biggest fan but being able to see a legend like that live makes it worth while and my old man was a huge Beatles fan growing up

Season should be coming in soon. I need to find a place to store my car. I do not have a garage at home and I would hate to see it parked outdoor. By any chance are there any heated storage area that I can go to in the GVRD?

Anyone know if there's a place locally that sells some sort of carpet lining that I could use for my trunk? Took my spare tire out and I want to line the bottom of my trunk with carpet so I can use that space instead of covering it up again because the OEM fake floor thing has no support underneath it anymore

There is a chinese lady in Richmond who keeps asking for money. She is a bit on the scary side. She will run towards you, and then follow you for a little bit while talking in mandarin. She doesn't care whether or not you understand. She will assume you do.

I've encountered her three times in one week. Once across from Ceilis, and then HSBC on Saba Road, and then at the Flo parking lot.

This reminds me of the stories of those filipino people who serenade you with sweet sweet music, and then demand money from you.

This gets asked every year, and for some reason, everyone expects it to be free, or stupidly cheap, like $50 a month or less.. lol

If i remember correctly, covered car storage will be at least $150-300 a month.

Call one of the audio sponsors like Rise or SoundsGood. They will have material to match your car from when they do the custom installs in peoples trunk. I'm sure they could cut you a big piece.

Try Mark's Work Wear house or Walmart.

Do you still have to let new fridges stand for 24 hours before plugging them in?

Manual doesnt say anything and theres no notices anywhere. Delivery guys didnt say anything either.

Dude looking for the steel toed boots. DO NOT buy boots from Walmart. Your feet will hurt! Go to Marks' tell them you need them for work and your employer doesn't pay for them. They will give you 10% off. Get a $10 off coupon. (You missed yesterdays 20% off sale) I don't work for Marks but I know enough people who have tried to buy cheap work boots from Walmart to regret it and end up going to Marks.

A Canada Post van might have just been carrying "snail mail," but it was allegedly being driven at such a high speed through West Vancouver Monday that police impounded it.

The truck was doing 135 km/h in a 90-km/h zone on the Trans-Canada Highway, Cpl. Fred Harding said in a release Tuesday.

“The 1995 Chevrolet postal van has been impounded for seven days,” Harding said.

Harding said the contents of the van were transferred to a second postal truck.

Police in B.C. can temporarily impound vehicles alleged to have been travelling at 40 km/h or more above posted speed limits.

A ticket for excessive speeding will cost a convicted driver at least $368 and as much as $483.
