How long does ICBC allow for injury claims? My friend was rear ended almost 2 weeks ago (was in the back of a gen coupe) and I'm starting to get back discomfort that happened after the accident. Gonna see a doctor first though.

I believe you have up to a year

Jassanova 11-04-2012 11:04 AM

Make a claim as soon as you can, but you have 2 years to start a law suit in most cases.

Anybody know if window visors/rain visors are machine car wash safe?

Googled it and have some mixed reviews, thanks!

MG1 11-04-2012 01:58 PM

I've never gone through a car wash with my costly Mugen visors on me Honda, and I never will. Not because the visors will come off (they won't), but because my paint will be scratched to hell.

If you have cheap knock offs stuck on to car with generic double sided tape, they will come off.

Has anyone tried this before:

Emzone OdorStop Vehicle Ventilation System Treatment | Canadian Tire

There is this smell coming out of the vents every time I turn on the air con.

I'd trust Wurth more than some Canadian Tire random brand.

Lordco sells something similar...supposedly what Ford uses in their factories. it's in a teal-green can. Somewhere around $14 if I remember correctly. Worked well for me.

don't know where they sell them here, but give Zeo-trap a try.

Went to see a doctor today and he said to go to physio. Do I call ICBC first or do I just go straight to physio? I have the claim number.
