If anyone knows, I'd love an answer too; if you guys remember the episode of top gear where they covered the British amputated veterans, this year is the Dakar they're entering in. My room gets damned dusty when I watch that ep.

Waldorf Hotel closing down for good | News1130

Update

"But in a written statement the new owner, Solterra Group, says it has no intention of demolishing the hotel at this point. It’s offering to work with the city to retain and improve the hotel.

“It will be a while before we take possession of the property, and right now the Puharich family is still responsible for the ongoing operations of the hotel. We have an open mind about the future of this site and we are studying all the options. I can say that at this point we certainly have no intention of demolishing the Waldorf Hotel. We want to work with the City to explore possible ways to retain and improve the hotel,” says Gerry Nichele, CEO of Solterra Group."

ICBC will cover it, but my deductible is 300 bucks. Honda quoted me around 500 bucks, because it requires the intake to be taken off. My mechanic buddy knew how to replace the harness without taking the intake off. Cost me under 60 bucks, parts included. Actually, the harness was like 10 bucks, LOL.

Mothballs, eh? Gonna try that. I was also thinking of putting copper mesh or copper wool into the gap between the intake manifolds where the fokkers get in. I'll have to remember to take it out before I drive the truck. I only drive it once a week if that these days.

I think it occurs more often on freezing nights like this when you park your car at night (car is much warmer than the surroundings this attracts the f**kers)

Hmm, wonder if ICBC will cover it after I have already paid for it. On second thought, my insurance premium would go up, no?

According to my insurance agent, the premium will not go up, unless you make multiple claims.

As for if they will cover it after the fact, I'm not 100% sure. Doesn't hurt to try.

Looking for a video I saw on YouTube last year. It was around 15 minutes long and used a bunch of clips from movies. The timing of the visuals paired with music made it a bit of a sensory overload but it was amazing.

I found it myself. Here it is for anyone interested :D

What are they building in that massive lot at Station Square? Everything is closing, so I assume it must be something big?

Saw something pretty cool today while driving on SE Marine Drive. A cop was trying to pull over a speeding car (didn't see what kinda car it was) and the car didn't stop, always hit the cop and drove off. The interesting part was the cop actually threw his radar gun at the car. I saw the radar gun on the road as I drove past it. Does the guys action warrant jail time? Almost hitting a cop, evading police and speeding? Or just a really really big fine and a suspended licence?
