Question....as some of you might know, Staple's having a 10% off 'customer appreciation' this coming Fri/Sat.

The product is the same price (well..34 cents diff) at both Staples and Futureshop regularly.

Obviously after the 10%, Staples would be cheaper....but will Future Shop match that?

They should, I got them to match Home Depot's appliance blow out sale around boxing day. As long as the sale price is posted online for them to see then it shouldn't be a problem.

Would it be the same as Grouse or is Seymour much bigger? And does Seymour have a designated area to just chill and play in the snow?

Because I called Grouse Mountain's info line and they said it's probably not the best idea to do it up on Grouse Mountain because they don't have an open space to do it in that doesn't have skiers and snowboarders. :okay:

murd0c 01-22-2013 01:16 PM

There's tons of places to mess around at seymour, just don't be an idiot and play where people are boarding and stuff and you will be fine.

melloman 01-22-2013 01:47 PM

Difference:

Seymour: You can drive up to the snow level and have afew choices where to play around in the snow. (Main parking where boarders are. Lower parking for overflow parking)

Grouse: Must PAY and take Gongola up to the snow level.

Cypress: Same as Seymour. Drive up to snow level yet Cypress is a bit of a drive.

Just a heads up to anyone who needs any parts or anything from Lordco but doesn't have an account--I just picked up some Trico hydrophobic coating for my mom's car and used the Revscene account. 30%, pretty average but still way better than list.

Problem is....it won't be listed online.

Are you checking a bag? I would feel comfortable going there at 5 if I just had a carry on.. 4:30 if you want to be safe. Any earlier would be unnecessary imo

I went to Cypress few weeks ago, some where between the view point and ski area, there is small parking lot to your left(when you are driving up).
next to the parking lot is large open area where you can play in snow.
Now, that weather has gotten warmer, I dont know if there is any snow left.

Grouse, there is small areas if you go into trails, but you have to pay like $40/person to get up there? not worth it unless you are ski/snowboarding

Tried searching online, couldnt find anything.
anyone know what time Espot closes on a week day night?
Midnight? 1 am?

Within 15km of my place, only Surrey has that deal today.

All the Tricity locations will have it on Saturday the 26th. (No mention of Coq. Ctr. location)

"1/2 Off Select Menu Items. Items vary by store." for all of them, nothing specific.

I don't think I've had a burger there in over 20 years and iirc it was pretty good, just pricey.
