Jeez....I don't know? Maybe staples? Or....most college/university's have stores that offer such service.

Or are you looking for the absolute cheapest price in town?
Or are u looking for someone that can do it for you right now...at 11pm?

Staples wont, cuz they have some copyright laws and even in the self service place they hassle you to leave.

Im looking for cheapest, dont need it right now as long as they are open tomorrow. Thanks!

Across metrotown staples. Shady enough to photocopy textbooks (at least they used to) but good work.

Two suspects in the murder just arrested at #Vancouver Hospital after they showed up seeking medical attention. Possibly Gang Related.

"The County Kerry Council in southwest Ireland passed a measure on Monday that allows rural drivers to legally drive while under the influence of alcohol.

The council voted 5-3 - with 12 absent and seven abstaining - to issue special permits to individuals who live in rural areas and wish to drive home on remote countryside roads after consuming two to three alcoholic beverages.

Councilor and County Kerry pub owner Danny Healy-Rae introduced the bill, arguing that citizens driving while intoxicated in rural areas have never killed anyone. He defended the measure by asserting that it would prevent loneliness and reduce the risk of suicides among those who live in Ireland's backcountry."

most jiffy lube/lube express places or whatever they're called do it -- but if you drive an older car might just be safer to drop the pan, change filters, and just re-add how much fluid was lost.

sonick 01-24-2013 09:35 AM

If it's manual tranny it should be super easy in most cases. Remove fill plug (important to do it first), remove drain plug, drain fluid, replace drain plug, fill fluid, replace fill plug.

Automatics are a PITA.

inv4zn 01-24-2013 09:48 AM

^Why are automatics a PITA? Isn't the procedure exactly the same.

fliptuner 01-24-2013 09:52 AM

Depends if it has a removeable pan/filter.

Manuals, you can only drain/fill.

sonick 01-24-2013 09:53 AM

I've only done it on two cars, but in both my experience there's no drain plug.

I had to drop the entire pan, which is super messy coz fluid goes all over the edges. And when re-filling I had to fill up the pan first, then lift up the pan back onto the tranny and tighten it while trying to not spill the fresh fluid in the pan.

fliptuner 01-24-2013 10:02 AM

The trick is to loosen all the bolts but moreso on one corner so it drains there. Then clean the pan, magnet, change the filter and replace the gasket. I've never had it where I had to fill the pan prior to reinstallation.
