I'm looking for any kind of article involving disabled athletes and sport. Googling around right now and not having much luck so if anyone knows or has read any good articles involving this topic please let me know!

I went across the border last week to get cheap gas, as I work like 15 minutes from the border. I don't bother going across to get gas unless I take the truck. When I came back, I asked the border guard, if it was OK to bring back gas in a jerry can. He said it was OK, but I should check with transport Canada, as to how gas is to be transported and how much. Anyone know the scoop on this?

I was under the impression that filling up the vehicle's tank was all you could do without getting dinged.

Found a gym in Coquitlam that does Kickboxing and MMA training for only $130 a month, fuck I'm so excited!!!

Kind of ambiguous... did you simply ask him whether "it was ok" to bring back gas in a jerry can, or did you ask him if there would be duties on it?

Because it is "ok" to bring it back, but technically it is subject to a fairly hefty rate of duty if it's not in your gas tank.

He knew what I was talking about.........

I also see quite a few people driving cars with BC plates, filling up jerry cans at Costco in Bellingham. Always one jerry can. I guess one jerry can is OK? I'm pretty sure the border guard mentioned Transport Canada, because I don't think you can have full jerry cans in a vehicle unless it is in a truck bed or something like that. Wandering if anyone has done this.

I guess it depends on the border agent then... I don't doubt that many turn a blind eye to one jerry can, even though it's technically dutiable.

Many years ago, probably almost a decade ago, I didn't think anything of it and brought a jerry can across to fill it. Coming back, I actually declared I filled up the jerry can, and the border guard told me specifically that it was subject to duties, although he didn't charge me.

Anyone go to crystal mall lately? What's up with the parking, the mall can be pretty empty, yet there won't be parking until P4, happens on weekdays lately

Illegal gambling in hidden area of Crystal Mall. That's my theory and I'm sticking with it, LOL.

Are there any RS vendors that can do a home security camera/DVR install?

All I need is someone to go up to each corner of my house and mount/install the camera and drill a hole/seal the wire going into the house.

I have all materials, just need the professional doing the labour.

AutozamAZ-3 11-15-2011 10:20 PM

i've brought back gas in a 20L jerry can from point roberts a couple times, one time the customs officer opened my trunk, took a look inside, didn't say anything

i think as long as youre not over-doing it (bringing back 2 or 3 jerry cans) they don't usually care

MG1 11-15-2011 11:17 PM

Was at Costco Bellingham this afternoon/evening. Saw one dude filling up three jerry cans. They were in garbage bags. WTF?

I asked the border guard today about jerry cans and her answer was very vague. She went on about how some people leave jerry cans in back of vans with their kids - how unsafe that is if there were to be an accident. I wasn't about to start a convo with her. She was not exactly the prettiest thing.............. Let's put it this way, I wouldn't even do her with murd0c's avatar's dick, LOLOLOLOL.

FOREVER 11-17-2011 12:37 AM

:'( how sad

KingDeeCee 11-17-2011 11:19 PM

Probably way too vague to be found, but I'll give it a shot anyways.

Anyone know the name of this chinese guy who did/does stand up comedy or "talk shows" and there's this specific one where he has teddy bear (3 eyed?) looking things as a set in the background and it looks like he performing in a sold out crowd of thousands. This is in chinese of course.

LSF22 11-18-2011 01:50 PM

Not worth starting another China thread....
