Played it at Q1 today. It was quite fun!

Anywhere else I can play this other than Q1? Pubs in Vancouver?

Legends and seven in Richmond. There's a coffee shop in downtown that also has it. You can check the live darts website for all locations currently online

Was hoping some asian places would offer it for cheaper

Btw, it's not for official passport application...but for an international drivers licence permit, as required by BCAA. They just want a "passport like" photo...so I'm assuming it doesn't have to be that official?
Does anyone know if you still need the guarantor signature on the back?

He's begging you for money. I would seriously and literally say, "that is lame" and walk.

Here's how you buy a car from these guys. First, you make sure that every number is reasonable. Then you go in, channel some Vince Vaughn circa wedding crashers or something, and say, "nope, no need for that paper yet. Here's the deal, I'm going to make it simple. I want to buy a car today. I'm not dicking you around on that, so I hope I'm talking to a guy that doesn't want to do the same to me. So, I need to see x dollars on the trade. I need to see y dollars on the F150 that we looked at. We need to add tax to that, and $150 in documentation fees. Nope, I know you want to get in on that and you're going to tell me that the fee isn't negotiable, but you and know that everything is negotiable. And the interest needs to be 4% on the balance. Now, I know you need to go and talk to people, but I have to tell you that I am not above going to other dealers. Hell, I'll drive to Kelowna shopping this deal to every Ford dealership I find. I think its reasonable, so I just need to know if we're good, or if you are holding the door open for me"

Boom. If your numbers are reasonable, its alright...if you try to rip them off, they'll just FO you.

This is exactly how I bought my last two vehicles. Both times, I phoned the salesman back with my OTD number and told them if they can make that happen, then call me back. If not, don't call back. I then inform them that some salesman, at some dealer, will realize he can make a quick deal simply by saying yes. Both times, I walked out with the deal agreed upon.

Though I do remember VW insisting I pay their $145 documentation fee on top of the negotiated price. I said hey, let's just buy it on a hand shake then - they waved the fee.

I fucking hate the new Spence Diamonds ad. I laugh at most of them, but ths new one is so fucking over the top. It basically tells guys that a diamond ring will keep their girl from leaving them. "It's a symbol of your love. When you're away, it will remind her of your love for her......" WTF? If a diamond ring is going to ensure your gf stays with you, then you need to get a new gf. I wish I could find the script - it is so sickening.

A girl should love you for who you are, yes? Not because you bought her a diamond ring. If she looks at another guy and goes, "Wow, he turns me on........ wait........ this diamond ring........ right..... my bf gave me this expensive as hell, ring. OK, I'll just take it off and then fuck that other guy, LOLOLOLOL.

Ads like this never work on people with half a brain, but there are a lot of people out there who are insecure and paranoid.

BTW, I get it. "Love our diamonds, hate our ads." At least it sticks in people's minds. Just like Ian and Steve at that Mopar car stealership. "We're Closer Than You Think!"

Spence diamonds and the old biatch lady for The Bay....two of the worst ad campaigns on the radio...like nails on a chalk board.

I just got a call from PC Mastercard telling me my card info has been compromised. They're going to send me a new card within 2 - 3 business days. God damn it..... that means my card number on file with Canada Post, Mint.ca, etc has to be changed. My Paypal, too.

According to mastercard, it's hapened to a shitload of people who shopped at the same place I did. Some employee somewhere scanned cards and took/intercepted info. It's under investigation, but they can't say for sure. I hope they nail the fokkers.

All my transactions up to the last one a few hours ago, have been legit.

All press is good press...

Not planning to get married anytime soon, but thinking off the top of my head:

Where do I buy a diamond ring?

a) go to the mall and just go to all the jewelry stores
b) Spence diamonds

Worked like a charm....

If it doesnt have to be official, just go take a picture yourself against a white wall and go print it at superstore. Thats what i did, fit 4 copies on one print. Cost me 40cents.
