That said, I'm not picturing the worst outcome for this scenario. Just got word today. New company takes over on Apr 15th. I assume they'll start easing in before then. Now I just wait and see what happens next. |

I'm always skeptical about those tracks on anything heavy cause sleds with larger tracks and weigh fractions of cars can easily get burried. I can't imagine having to try and dig that thing out Posted via RS Mobile |

Any advice on selling a set of snow tires? I traded the vehicle in a year and a half ago and they don't fit on my new truck. Forgot about them last winter as they are in my storage locker and have halfheartedly tried this winter. I got jerked around by a couple of guys off Craigslist who said they were going to take them and then backed out. I realize as most people are starting to think about taking snowies off that chances of selling them are getting slimmer and slimmer. Do I wait until next season or just try to get a few bucks for them? The rims must be worth something. The other thing is the vehicle they came off of is not common and I can only find one other that uses the same size wheel and tire. |
On one hand, you're going to take a hit cause it's almost time to switch over but you'll free up some storage. On the other hand, if you go to sell them next fall/winter, they're going to be a year older, so if they're close to 5 years old, might be a harder sell. Plus you have to store them. What model/size/condition are they? |
