but non-transferable terms would include giving away the bus pass for free |
Some guy just rang the doorbell asking about our gas bills and such. Said if we sign up a form we get a guaranteed rate in the case that gas prices go up. Saw his lanyard and card i believe was from Access gas services. Anyone know anything about this? |

25 vintage photos of Vancouver in the 1970s dam, gas was so cheap back then and imo the city looked a lot nicer with less apartments more vintage pictures on https://www.flickr.com/photos/49469560@N07/sets/ |
^^ you can still see biltmore hotel and colonial motel... When you look at hastings/victoria area, you can sorta still see where the old a&w drive in was... Posted via RS Mobile |

Awesome vintage Vancouver pics! Love the 4th and Vine Safeway and the Eldorado on Kingsway. Both fairly significant landmarks for me. RIP Eldorado. |

It was a really nice one, too....... plus a really busy post office across the street. As you know, I grew up in the DTES. For 16 years. That part of town was bustling with people. Lots of young families. |
Does anyone know how much a journeyman electrician make working for Allwest electric? PM me the info or post here. |
Holy carpal tunnel syndrome.......... for some crackheaded reason, I thought this was the Vancouver History thread, LOL. http://www.revscene.net/forums/58774...ml#post8428872 oh, IC................ mindblown RS members, so crafty. |
Kingsway/Knight intersection: Old safeway -> value village (thrift store) -> abandoned -> highrise apt. Think that was the correct order lol... Posted via RS Mobile |
Old safeway -> flea market -> abandoned -> highrise apt. Also, I guess tofu/kuno/cho don't remember Norquay Store. It was torn down and replaced with a pink stucco house, in the 90's, right across the street from the school. I used to get Double Bubble and Tahiti Treat from there. lol |
Speaking of Safeways. In the Vancouver History thread, there is mention of the Safeway that used to be on Nanaimo Street. So, here's another one for you history buffs and old timers. Anyone remember what was on the corner of Lougheed Hwy and Bainbridge? Right next to the Royal Bank there. The building with the glass solarium. It used to be a popular restaurant/hang out for young couples. |
I should probably start a new thread for this but whatever So I got my celica back from the shop today (after that metrotown accident) and I thought everything was fine in fact I'm not sure if they're even related but my gauge clusters lights are going out now when my headlights turn on :crazy2: The gauge lights turn on when I turn the car on and when its simply my drl's that are on but the moment the headlights turn on everything on the gauge cluster goes out except for the headlight, door, and seatbelt indicators Any ideas? Is it just a fuse? But then why would they work sans headlights :fulloffuck: edit so I just realized as I was returning home that my signal lights and brake lights aren't working either, fucking Kirmac |

The last tenant to occupy it was some family restaurant that didn't last long. Before that in the early 2000s it was "Rain"- some bullshit-trying-to-be-trendy lounge restaurant. Before that was the "Stinking Rose". I never went to any of the restaurants there. I heard good things about the Stinking Rose, but they moved before I was old enough to afford eating out by myself. It's a shame because I lived so close to it. |
