Where do you guys search for cars, especially uncommon ones? craigslist can be impossible to search and autotrader doesn't usually have much.

Simplex123 03-28-2014 12:43 AM

Do you guys usually get your cars inspected when buying off Craigslist? If so, do you bring the guy there, or bring it to a shop? Any recommendations?
The car is too old for BCAA

If you're not mechanically inclined or know what to look for, either take it to a trusted shop or get BCAA to inspect it.

There is a overnight lineup starting outside metrotown's superstore. Any one know why?

Went to a Shane Koyczan show this week. He made a joke that a group of Canadians should be called an "apology" of Canadians.

RS needs to make this a thing :accepted:

So these are falling from the sky in Hong Kong right now

Also Festival Walk now has a waterfall right in the middle of the mall

Pretty crazy storm, I got caught in it. There was a river in the bus, and I had to take off my shoes to get home, as the water on the road was past ankle deep. My rooftop has become a wading pool because I didn't get around to clearing the drains :fuckthatshit:

Waterfall Walk is developing to be a Waterpark in less than a week.

I'm glad I cleaned my drains last week or my rooftop would become a pool too.

City of Vancouver has no Bylaws for this situation. It's strictly a civil matter, just simple tell your neighbour, hey I noticed some of your trees/bushes are encoraching onto my property, are you ok If I trim some of it back myself?

FYI from City Website.

What can I do if my neighbour's tree branches are overhanging my roof, sundeck, etc.? What can I do if the neighbor tree roots are cracking my sidewalk?

The best way to resolve an issue with your neighbor about overhanging tree branches or invasive roots is to discuss the situation and agree to a solution that serves both parties. Issues that arise between neighbours are more easily resolved if both neighbours use common sense and are willing to compromise. Neighbor to neighbor conflicts about trees overgrowing a property line is regarded as a civil matter and therefore the City of Vancouver cannot intervene on behalf of either neighbour. For disputes involving leaves, branches or root encroachments, the laws of ownership and trespass can be legally complicated. It is recommended that a consulting arborist and/or a lawyer be contacted for further guidance. The City of Vancouver recommends that any tree maintenance be carried out in responsible manner using accepted arboricultural practices.

After seeing so many videos of exotics ripping down the narrow and busy streets around London's Knightsbridge area, I'm surprised this hasn't happened sooner.

Aventador Crash - Moment of Impact - YouTube

To be fair, while we don't know for sure if the Aventador was ripping it.. that Mazda really shouldn't have pulled out the way it did.

I remember there used to be an artist on Robson who would do paintings like this years ago, I was wondering if that person is still around?

Anybody know the location of a vintage gas pump/ gas station? Somewhere on the west side of Vancouver?
I can't remember the intersection. I've seen someone here post a photo of their car on location.
TIA
