Washington / Oregon....

Generally speaking, most places are close on Christmas day the 25th.

But what WILL be open?

What kind of attractions? Restaurants? McDonald's? Starbucks? Walmart's?

dyan 12-23-2011 01:36 AM

Aquarium.

Christmas Eve is going to be awesome this year, full slate of NFL games on tv, grab some alcohol and food and enjoy the games. Assuming you like NFL that is lol.

Excelsis 12-23-2011 12:02 PM

has anyone here dreamed of making a time machine?

I do, but my bro recently moved back in while he finds a place to live in vancouver, and I was hoping to do something with le girl, and he's a religious lunatic so my place is a no go.

Nothing good comes from traveling to and fro in time.......

mess with the past or cry about the future.

You'd be surprised how a slight change in what you do affects everybody down the line.

Wasn't there a thread on RS about going back in time? If you could, what would you change?

Things happen for a reason........ wars, disease, death, etc. Without them, the world would be overpopulated. Sad as it is, the cure for cancer may be the end of mankind as we know it. Old growth forest burns down due to natural causes. Sad, but new growth rises from the ashes.

Life/Death

Life sucks and then you die..............

.......because of this, we must do whatever we can while we are here on earth to make a difference. Make someone happy, help in whatever way you can, etc.

Not sure why I'm saying all this............. oh well. Hockey game on tonight!

Excelsis 12-23-2011 01:16 PM

So you traveled time?

I usually go to a pub.

That might sound a bit odd, but Christmas eve isn't a enjoyable night for those of us without families to spend the night with and myself and a couple close friends are in that situation. Sit next to a fire, have a Guinness and enjoy the company of a few people I love..

Bars are surprisingly crowded on Christmas eve and day in my experience, lots of people must be :alone:
