So, paint the cars pink and throw in some polka dots while we're at it.............. The police have to look intimidating. Now if they painted fangs, skulls, satanic symbols, and chains, then I'd be a little concerned. |

I agree they do look intimidating but more importantly, imo, is they're ugly and don't flow with the vibe of the city the VPD should have gone with the Ford Taurus like the RCMP those look great :megusta: People forget that the police/police cars aren't just there to intimidate petty criminals, that's really just a small part of it, they represent the city and are a beacon to regular citizens and more importantly tourists but ultimately I just think they're ugly ;) |

They look intimidating as fuck!!! Compare police cars and uniforms over the years and they have taken on a much more military-like appearance |

So I'm sure most of us have heard of ISIS by now right? Syrian Rebels that were getting training/funding from the US/UK/FR (although its claimed ISIS never received training/support) who ended up invading Iraq to push back Iranian support forces for Syrian President Assad who in said invasion of Iraq faced no resistance from Iraqi forces Iraqi forces that dropped their US weapons and discarded their US tanks/humvees/etc which ISIS conveniently collected and brought back into Syria and subsequently took over a Syrian oil field we've all heard of that ISIS right? Well it turns out ISIS has raided a university in Mosul which had a supply of Uranium provided to them for research.... :seriously: and ISIS now has 88lbs of Uranium but the IAEA says not to worry because its "low grade" if that doesn't scream conspiracy theory & tom clancy novel i don't know what will Exclusive - Iraq tells U.N. that 'terrorist groups' seized nuclear materials | Reuters Oh and ISIS also took over a former Chemical Weapons Storage facility that was bombed during the 1st gulf war but never cleared as its a toxic site now |
honestly i dont really care about these small militant groups getting their hands on small amounts of low grade materials. Watch the Mega Ships on the USS Kentucky destroyer submarine. It has like 12 Triton missles which each carry 4 warheads that do like 600% more effective area than the best North Korea is assumed to posses |
You do realize there are different grades of uranium right? Just having uranium doesn't let them do much, unless they have the facilities and skills to produce highly enriched uranium there's not much of anything they can do with it. |
They can create a dirty bomb out of it which is what its expected to be used for; the severity of such a bomb is another issue entirely Cookies must be enabled. | The Australian My main issue is that wtf did the US think it was a good idea to provide Iraq with uranium for research in the first place given the lack of security in the are and their irrational fears that their neighbours would attain any level of uranium at all |

And the type of warfare they are getting themselves into isn't one where their huge weapons can save them, they aren't fighting a single country or race so it's almost impossible for them to tell friend from foe. If you watch the Vice documentaries the one thing you'll notice is all the villagers they interview say they're scared because they have no idea whose taliban/al-queda and whose not. If america does try to use its weapons there will be tons of civilian casualties because the people who they need to go after are all hidden in plain sight America didn't even allow its translators from the iraq war citizenship, even though they're legally obliged to, and now the iraqi translators who helped them in the war are being hunted/killed like wild animals (also on vice, if you're interested) |
