I accidentally sat down on a pair of sunglasses and bent the arms. Anyone know where I can get them fixed? Preferably in Richmond. Thanks!

Saw a small story about a car that crashed in Surrey sending 3 teenagers to the hospital. Looked like some kind of Tiburon... Hopefully no one from here

LOL so....this is what a spokersperson does?

On Wednesday, spokesperson Cheryl Ziola said TransLink regrets causing delays and understands that people are frustrated when they are waiting on the platforms trying to get to work, or home to their families.

"But perhaps in the future, it would be good to take a little rest break, go for a coffee, go have a bite to eat until we can get things back under control again.

"That would be a good way of avoiding the congestion in the stations as well. And it would be good for our local economy, too," she said.

Anyone ever order parts online, from the States (p/u from Blaine) and get the wrong part?

If so, what's the best carrier to use to ship it back? If it matters, it's a 10lb clutch kit.

Thanks.

GLOW 10-01-2014 05:37 PM

did you check if they will pay for shipping back? i've returned stuff to amazon before and i just printed something out and taped it to the box and in the mail it goes.

Buyer responsible for return shipping in this case.

Pig in Australia Steals 18 Beers from Campers, Gets Drunk, Fights Cow | Gadling

Quote:

Forget crocodiles and snakes, the real animal threat in Australia is wild pigs. At least if you’re camping.

At a campground in Western Australia over the weekend, a feral pig guzzled down 18 beers that had been left out improperly secured. And just like anyone 18 beers in at a rural dive bar, the pig got big-headed and decided to start a fight with a cow, resulting in the cow chasing the pig around a car.

“In the middle of the night these people camping opposite us heard a noise, so they got their torch out and shone it on the pig and there he was, scrunching away at their cans,” said a visitor.

The pig was later reported sleeping his hangover (and shame of trying to take down a cow?) off under a tree.

While feral pigs are considered an invasive pest in many parts of the country, it’s also a reminder to keep food and drink secured when camping. Just imagine if it had been a drunk kangaroo.

NORTHWEST DISPOSAL

anyone work there?

ive tried calling their dispatch but they're not open on weekends and id like to get in contact with them NOW!

story:

just now one of their trucks pulled into my alley way (im the first house in the alley) and the passenger of a top loader garbage truck(the ones used to empty big steel bins) jumped out, dragged my personal garbage can to their truck, threw a blue bag wrapped in wire with the label "caution soiled linen" into my fucking garbage can, then left the can there. what the fuck?!?! by the time i got my door open to go outside they were driving away. i was unable to get the truck number or plate. but i sure the fuck aint keeping this bag in my garbage bin. any clues what to do? or anyone on here work for them or know someone who works for them that could redirect me to a number that i can contact them asap with?

Looking to repaint a small bedroom.

What's a good brand of paint that won't break the bank? I'm browsing on Rona's website right now, and I'm so confused.

Recycled Interior Paint - Moonlight | RONA

How's this stuff? $19 for a gallon.

http://www.rona.ca/webapp/wcs/stores...ter%27s+choice

Painter's Choice branded paint for $6 more.

StylinRed 10-05-2014 11:23 PM

I just painted a small room

used that Behr Marquee paint, it's advertised as a 1 coat paint & primer, 1gallon for $60

the paint is extremely thick imo and 1 coat does a fantastic job but I still put on two

needed 1.25 gallons for a 8'+ x 10'+ room

I know the pricing is way off from what you're asking but hopefully it'll help

Interior Paint | Interior Paints | Paint | Décor | Home Depot Canada

Home Depot had a rebate going on if you buy a gallon + ($7-$25) not sure if its still going on

Ok, my room is about 9 x 10 feet. You needed 1.25 gallons for two coats? I guess I could make do with one coat and just one can I guess.

I'll take a look at the Behr. It's nice that it includes primer. I read two in one paints go on much easier?

StylinRed 10-05-2014 11:36 PM

i didn't find it to go on easy since it was so thick, just coating the roller was a task :lol

i think the girl that made my paint fucked up but i ended up getting it done

if i were to buy paint again i think i would get 2 gallons since i was scraping the can basically at the end there but yeah I did go 2 coats
