Its only 52000 sqft, only slightly bigger than the sportchek at metrotown and richmond, and about the same size as Park royal.
And with it spread over 3 floors it won't feel too big when the reno is done.

As for rent, I'm sure it will be fine, I currently work at a location with the second most expensive lease in the company and we are fine with it comes to bottom line. I can't foresee that spot on Robson to be much more than my lease at my store now.

I think its a good idea since it sounds like the Pacific center stores are being pushed out. It's a perfect location and its a super nice store. I'm just very curious what the rents going to be tho since it is Robson street and all.

Yea Holt paid ctc a very large sum of money (8 figures) to ask sportchek to vacate.
As for rent, I'm gonna guess no more than 200k/month

jesus did a lot of things, including casting seven demons out of Mary Magdalene, a Harlot, who is now a saint.

Damn............ dude is powerful.

Weed Jesus, on the other hand, trumps all...........

This is just another sign of how pathetic we are as a species at this moment. I'd think carrying on a lie like this would be very depressing. And extremely embarrassing if it ever came out...

Major CVSE presence on Royal and 6th, in front of NW City Hall.

Saw some modded cars getting pulled over along with the trucks.

Thread from 2001 and the release of the iPod: Apple's New Thing (iPod) - MacRumors Forums

I have no use for an Mp3 player.

uhm, no. Won't last.

Any way you spin this it is:
1. Not revolutionary. Big capacity mp3 players already exist. With Creative Labs' entrance into the firewire arena, future nomads will have similar specs and better prices.
2. A bad fit. This product is outside Apple's core competancy - computing devices. When many are calling for a pda, they release an MP3 player.
3. Without a future. This Christmas you will see mp3 players be commoditized. Meaning that the players from Korea will be way less expensive tha iPod. The real money is in DRM and distribution (ala Real Musicnet). If Apple were smart they would be focusing on high gross revenue from services rather than a playback device.
Just a short 14 years later, the entire category of a dedicated MP3 player is pretty much obsolete.

murd0c 01-26-2015 03:14 PM

I still have that brick of an ipod sitting in my desk drawer at home. 20GB so much space haha

punkwax 01-26-2015 03:24 PM

My 1st gen ipod is still plugged into my Fit's USB. Good old school music on there for when the radio sucks.. or I go through a tunnel :lol

The battery has been dead for 10 years on mine. I wonder what apples reaction would be if I took it to the Apple store to get the battery replaced lol

great example of how people on the internet think they are market geniuses but generally have absolutely no idea whats going on.

"The Ipod is a waste of time" brb Ipod got the ball rolling for Apple towards being one of the most powerful tech companies out there

Can someone teach me on the N and L stickers??

We don't have that in AB and I know L means learning, N means novice.. but I see a lot of older people with N and even really expensive cars with N.

So.. when I switch to BC plates would I have to get an N? I've been driving for 11 years but I lost my license twice, for a month each time, due to demerits.
How long do you have to have that N on your car for?

I've googled it a little bit but a lot of is just articles on fighting the N sticker and how BC should get rid of it

GLOW 01-27-2015 09:21 AM

when i moved from AB and switched my DL to BC i got a straight up BC license, no N. i had my AB license for a couple of years at that time. things may have changed as that was a very long time ago.

There's info on this on icbc's site. From my understanding, since you have 11 years when you surrender your AB license, you'll get the full BC license (class 5).

The N is novice, and is had for the two years following. After which the person can complete a second road test for their class 5.

The older ppl you see with N's may be immigrants who never had a license prior to immigrating, so they go through the whole licensing process

Godzira 01-27-2015 09:37 AM

Thanks for clearing it up for me :)

Or their kids drive it and they just leave the N on.

InvisibleSoul 01-27-2015 10:44 AM

That's interesting. My wife has been an N driver for like 15 years. LoL

I think it'll be easier getting her to move to Alberta for 2 years and then come back and automatically get a class 5 instead of actually her doing a road test. :p

The expensive cars with N are often high-school graduation gifts. :troll:
