Yet Guthrie and Reilly didn’t behave as though they were remotely frightened or intimidated: They convened a meeting of friends to discuss how Elliott should be publicly shamed; they bombarded their followers with furious tweets and retweets about him (including a grotesque suggestion from someone pretending she was a 13-year-old that he was a pedophile); they could and did dish it out.
isn't a false accusation of that in itself criminal?

Arctic ice 'grew by a third' after cool summer in 2013

By Matt McGrath
Environment correspondent, BBC News

21 July 2015
From the section Science & Environment

The volume of Arctic sea ice increased by around a third after an unusually cool summer in 2013.

Researchers say the growth continued in 2014 and more than compensated for losses recorded in the three previous years.

The scientists involved believe changes in summer temperatures have greater impacts on ice than thought.

is it normal for Canada Post to not leave those missed shipping notification or deliver that slip a day later?

This is like the fourth fucking time it's happened this year. I live in a townhouse complex so they would normally stick those things on the front complex entrance or inside my mailbox.

I track things online, and for the fourth fucking time, it says attempted delivery at so and so time but when I check around there is no sign of the slip.
Either it shows up the next day or it does not show up at all and the only reason I know I have something at the post office is because of online tracking.

What the fuck Canada Post? Anyone else experience this?

CP will say they attempted to deliver but not actually do so quite often
For various reasons including being a lazy mailman, or package overload, etc

you'll get the notification in the mail the next day.

if you get packages often, it helps to be nice to the people at the pickup depot where I usually pickup the night of, with the tracking number instead of delivery notice.

there were a couple of time where that slip was never delivered and the only reason i knew was cus i checked online a few days later to see where my package was.

the people at the pick up depot are pretty nice
i think the mailman in my neighbourhood must be lazy af

Any recommendations for a limo service where they will charge a reasonable rate for a delivery/pickup later in the day?

Basically me and some buddies gonna go to abbotsford airshow from surrey, would like a ride there in the morning then pick us up from there later in the day

Bwahahahaha......... same thing happened to me the other day. I was cursing and swearing on chat in the morning. I purposely hung out in front of my house all morning. Mowing the lawn, taking time out to smell the roses, etc. I wait till the regular post man shows up. He tells me, the parcel guys show up early in the morning like 9:30 am or so. WTF? I've been at the front of my house since 8:00 am. I knew the parcel was coming. Tracking said it arrived in Richmond Friday late morning and it was out for delivery. I check my e-mail notification and it tells me delivery was attempted and notice was left. What notice? It was nowhere to be seen. I finally had to go to the local post office to pick up parcel.

Guess what? The notice was in my mailbox the next day. I assumed the delivery attempt was made to the wrong house, but now I think it's just the case of not enough time, so just drop the parcel off at the post office. Why the hell not drop all parcels off at the post office. I will gladly drive out if I knew it was there and not have to deal with this lying and BS.

I guess it's going to end up "delivery to nearest post office" service. Like I said, I don't mind that, just don't fucking lie about it.

Haha they will have a PR nightmare now.

Sure, they might be upset or something, but deciding to SUE the guy, is just outright dumb.

Sometimes I'm just amazed at the legal dept. of some of these large corporations. Do they even use their brain before coming to the decision of suing?

This would be a PR nightmare no matter how the case ends, and for a corporation like Target, I'm sure their public image is worth far more than any compensation they'd be able to get out of this guy.

i heard the fancy one at sleep country is legit. but it's like $80

i use a memory foam one from costco that's like $30 i think? a lot better than my $2 walmart/zellers pillows that go flat after a month.

The Bay has an outrageous collection of pillows.

I got mine during Bay Days at 50% off, and it's amazing. It really depends on what type of sleeper you are.

G/F went through like 10 pillows, before finding the curved memory foam one from Ikea ($14 or something) was the best fit for her.
