That's the price I received. It's the new one on 2oo and Hwy 1, right? I'm gonna take the wife out to dinner, a movie, drinks, hot tub, and then noneofyourbusiness.

Have you booked it yet? I just found out you have to apply and use the credit card in order for it to work. My sis tried to book a room DT and that's what happened to her
Yeah.. I booked it. You have to register for MasterPass, and pay through that method. You can use any credit card, though. I used my Visa. Decided to 'splurge' and go with 2 queens instead of a king. Ended up paying 36.25 CAD.

"We have owned Bino's for 24 years so we're really looking forward to retiring and doing some travelling. Bino's will be closing its doors on Sept 27th, 2015. What I will miss most is seeing the familiar faces everyday and our daily conversations. We have such amazing customers. It really is a special place here, we are family. We will miss everyone!"

Too bad it isn't about flipping cars to lose money, I'm really good at that.

LAKE ERROCK (NEWS 1130) – This week’s winner of our Vancouver’s Worst Commute contest has a doozy of a drive – from Lake Errock east of Mission to Richmond and back every day!
Steve Araujo’s girlfriend nominated him, and it’s no wonder!
“It’s about two hours on a good day to three hours on a bad day — and the bridge was out last week in Dewdney! So I had to go around through Agassiz, into Chilliwack, back into Abbotsford, into Mission to get all the way back onto Highway 1 to come into Richmond. It was taking me over three hours.”
Even with that, there’s no way Steve would move closer to Richmond and his job of 20 years.
“The prices in Vancouver for a house are driving people out to the Valley. To be able to afford a house with property, you basically have to live [in the] Chillwack, Mission area — Lake Errock where I live. I love it out there. It’s great; the lake’s right there, it’s peaceful, it’s beautiful. I wouldn’t trade it for the world, but the commute in Vancouver is getting worse and worse as the years go on, and with the bridge being out last week, it was crazy.”
I would think you'd have to be a masochist for spending 4-6 hours a day in traffic. Over the course of a year, you would have spent more than a month in your car, just from commuting. That's a lot of time taken away from relaxing next to the lake. I wonder how much it costs him in gas and maintenance, and if it's worth trying to find a lower-paying job closer to home.
really depends on his hours of work. if he travels during rush hour, than hes a fucking idiot. but if its during off peak its probably closer to a 90 minute drive, which is long but doable.
still an idiot either way. buy a house out in the valley and rent it out, rent a townhouse or whatever close to work. the house in the valley will build your equity so you can buy a house in richmond eventually.
or, if the only way you can afford to buy is to live way out there and commute everyday, then fuck it. rent close to work and enjoy the rest of your money. just need a fucking roof over your head at the end of the day, who cares if you own it or not.
