yeah? it's just basically me throwing everything into a pot and mashing it

potatoes,
roasted garlic (bathed in olive oil before roasting)
sprig of mint/oregano (sometimes both)
chives,
parmesan,
cream/milk,
salted butter,
mushroom broth (boil the potatoes in just enough broth so there's no excess)

Daruma........ ah, roly poly thing with no eyes.

You know snowman is called yukidaruma in Japanese. Yuki being snow.

When you buy daruma, it has no eyes. You paint an eye and make a wish. Drama will do its best to grant you wish. After wish is granted, you must complete by painting the other eye.

Remember.............. Don't mess with the daruma!

If you no paint after wish comes true, you go blind and dick falls off! j/k about the last part. Hee hee.

So... David Bowie died apparently

the many faces of Bowie

David Bowie Dead at Age 69 After Battle With Cancer | E! Online Australia

not sure how relevant he is for most anymore, so I decided against making a new thread but I'm kind of shocked, since he just released his new album and music video

Quote:
David Bowie has passed away, just two days after his 69th birthday.

The legendary singer's Facebook page posted the tragic news Sunday evening, writing, " David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer."

The statement continued, "While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family's privacy during their time of grief."

No further details were released at this time.

Bowie is survived by two children: Duncan Jones and Alexandria "Lexi" Zahra Jones.
RIP

although immediate reaction is that it's a hoax

His videos for his latest album are quite morbid, naturally because he was dealing with his cancer, the album had been getting a lot of praise before his passing, I imagine it will get far more attention now
