quite possibly one of the most Canadian crime in history... Man dressed as goalie swipes cases of brew from beer store in Manitoba - Manitoba - CBC News Quote:
"He may have been a defenceman or forward in disguise as he was wearing jersey #17 — a non-traditional number for goalies," the release states.

I'll be moving soon and still need to find a bed frame without breaking the bank. Decided on new and want a Captain's / Storage bed. Shopping around and some of the prices are just...
Trying to look around smaller local shops. Anyone know of any good places to go?
I saw this one shop called 'Imperial Furniture' out in Richmond and it all seems pretty appealing. Not looking for exquisite design, just something that I can sleep on Home
Spoke to a rep and they told me it's cash only deals, hence my hesitation but still considering it and their website says they've been in the business for 40 years. Any help would be great.
Thanks

When I grew up in the DTES, we had to have our mattress off the floor, otherwise the cockroaches and mice would make life miserable. Actually, sleeping off the floor didn't help all that much.
god, I really wonder how my sister and I ever survived. I am so glad my kids will never have to face that sort of shit.
I appreciate everything I have a 1001 times infinity. I still have nightmares of cockroaches crawling on the ceiling.
When I saw the old place on that movie, Deadpool, I cringed a little.

Okay, you non supporters of Justin Trudeau who say he's done zero for this country, Google "Justin Trudeau and Marvel Comics."
Sorry, but I cannot paste link from my phone.
I just heard about it on CKWX, lol. I laughed so hard when they described the cover.

I think it's pretty big news. She did so much and devoted herself totally to helping others. I'm not christian or catholic. Not even close, but people of any faith who make a difference should be recognized by all. Mother Teresa Canonized as a Saint by Pope Francis - WSJ
May she finally be at peace with herself and find the peace she never found on earth.

Happy Labour Day, RS.
I know a lot of people on RS are not union supporters, but the union has done a lot to raise and improve the standard of living and working conditions in both the US and Canada. And, the hard work they have done has had its effect on non-union jobs, as well. Labour codes and other standards.
I also know there are more than a few union supporters on RS who don't say anything, because being vocal on the subject of unions and job action on a forum such as RS is pointless.
Anyhow, the only complaint I have with unions is the fact that it gives lazy workers a safe haven. Even people who had good work ethics at one point in their lives go full on retard and become the laziest and dumbest fucks on the planet once they join a union.
If unions only took care of wages and working conditions, they wouldn't be so bad. Corruption, like in all organizations exists, but more so when unions are involved.
So for a brief second or two, let us thank all those who fought for the working class........ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norma_Rae
Above movie based on the life of person below........ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crystal_Lee_Sutton

People get hired, work their asses off for a few years until they've become full-time employees, pass the probationary stage and then that's it. They think they're on easy streak for life and just give up working thinking they're invincible, but they're not. There's always a way to remove someone from a job.
