anyone ever order a phone from expansys.ca?

first time i've ever heard of this site.

Spectre_Cdn 10-15-2016 12:12 AM

^seen it mentioned on RFD before.

The Foody World property is cursed. From Rona, the first Chinese grocer and Foody World, none have succeeded... Good thing MG1 buys cha-siu from Price Smart instead of Foody World SeemsGood

Listeriosis contamination suspected from Richmond grocery store Foody World - British Columbia - CBC News

According to this 1 person has died, 5 hospitalized.

PiuYi 10-15-2016 01:28 PM

nothing wrong with the property, the Chinese grocer before and Foody World are the same owner.... aka same ridiculous cost-cutting bullshit, same being late paying their wholesalers, same disorganization

MG1 10-15-2016 03:29 PM

For crying out loud, I used to buy their donburi in the mornings. At least twice a week. Then I switched to Burger King, 'cause lineups at Foody World were getting ridiculous.

As for Char Siu, I buy that shit from Chinatown when I can, or Chong Lee on Rupert when in a pinch. Foody World char siu always looked suspicious to me, so never bought from them.

Now that I think of it, I did get a little sick back when I ate their donburi a few months ago. Donburi made with long grain rice was just wrong........ but cheap enough that I ate it, LOL.

Save money to die from food poisoning.................. hee hee, hue hue, pew pew.

GLOW 10-15-2016 04:50 PM

GLOW 10-16-2016 07:06 AM

Has anyone ordered online or bought furniture in store from Structube?
How were delivery times and customer service? So many items are back ordered or need to be "shipped from Montreal" and they have a lot of worrying reviews. :/

godwin 10-17-2016 01:36 AM

Zoning application is up but there are probably another year or so before they can do much to the site.

Was listening to 104.3 and they were playing one of my favourite songs. Googled it and found this. Damn, the original version was like, wow.

Seasons in the Sun by Terry Jacks Songfacts

David Foster, Poppy Family, and of course, Susan Jacks........... then he found god and gave up music. Like, WTF? Music is from the gods, for christ's sake.

is there a way to make a Word document into a PDF (or something similar) but in the PDF, everything is like an image, where the words aren't highlightable and be copy pasted elsewhere. IE: I made something in Word that I need to share with ppl, but I don't want them copy pasting my stuff to steal it and use it as their own.

Whats to stop them from physically copying down what you wrote or using those camera apps that turn images into texts?

just copy what you have in your word doc and paste it in the PDF and then protect it.

Well, if you have a Mac, just go to "Print." In the dialog box there is a drop down button that reads, "pdf." Just choose where you want it and a few other choices, and you're done.

Your original stays as is..........

You can do this on anything that can be printed, including web pages.

Hell, you can even take a screen shot of whatever. It's quick and dirty. I use "command-4" and the OS lets you select the area you want to take a screen shot of. As soon as you type the key combination, your cursor turns into a cross hair with co-ordinates. Click-drag and as soon as you let go, a camera shutter alert sound indicates you're done. The file shows up on yur desktop.

Unless it's the combination to Kim Jong Un ce's women's silk panties, safe, nobody is going to spend the time to use OCR to copy it. LOL.

Nothing is safe..............

Nothing, but if they want to steal my stuff, they'll have to work for it.

Similar to a car immobilizer. Why have one when the thief can just tow it away?:alone:
