Has anyone got experience with Nexen CP671's? How are they for road noise and sidewall stiffness? We just need something quiet and comfy, they'll be used for the summer only.

Nexen is garbage. Why scrimp on the things that separate you from the road?
Probably a useless post but needed to vent this somewhere. Made an honest mistake and I admit I was in the wrong, but the mall security at Oakridge didn't have to be so rude when he was letting me know.
TL;DR: Pulled up in the "Police Parking Only" accidentally while there was a mall cop, and had such a rude encounter that I'm still thinking about it -.-. And they also are parked in a the "Police Parking Only" (it's their private parking so they can do w/e)

The rent a cops at Oakridge are such dicks. It's been a while since I parked in the 20 minute loading zone and I didn't realize there was "Police Parking Only" right beside it. The other parking spots have poles with signs that say 20 minute convenience parking. I was coming from the Safeway side and there was another car that was not police so I thought it was just the same 20 minute parking.
Anyways I pull up and this security guy knocks on my window to roll it down and goes: "Are you a new driver?" and under his voice mutters "You must be a new driver let me see your N sign" then goes to the back of my car and asks me why i don't have my N sign up. Without even letting me know I'm in a police parking spot. Then proceeds to ask why I'm parked here I'm like I'm in the 20 minute convenience parking. And he keeps chewing me out saying "can I not see and why am I even driving".
He was talking with another woman there and he was like "Do you want to get your car towed like that other woman?", you're in a "Police Parking Only".
This is where I got livid, he was chewing me out instead of just politely telling me that I'm in a police parking spot. I told him he didn't have to be a dick about it and he kept going can you not see can you not see? "I'm going to call to tow your car away". At this point I'm rather angry and told him again to not be a dick about it. I reverse out and a car drove by which I stopped for and again he goes "OMG ARE YOU BLIND?!". Like dude I'm already going to move what's your problem, I saw the car coming and I stopped.
It was an honest mistake on my end when I didn't realize that I pulled into the parking spot and I don't understand why he couldn't have just asked nicely.
What really pissed me off even more though was I realized when I was walking to the mall that it was their car in the "Police Parking Only". Last I checked, being mall security doesn't make you Police. It's private property so they can do whatever they want, it's up to them to enforce the parking. I had to choose between picking up what I had to or asking them where their VPD badges were. Inner geek in me opted to pick up my Nintendo Switch. Tried to find them after and I couldn't, so I decided to leave them a note and called them to let them know a non police vehicle was in the spot.
Yeah no doubt, 16 years. It's been really neat seeing the phases of life of the OG's of the board over the years. From barely out of high school to middle age. What a trip.

Thanks man, it's a boy! It went beyond smooth, he popped out at 9:30 at the hospital this morning, we were back in our house by noon. Completely natural, and healthy, couldn't have asked for better.

i miss the times when the tax was included in the shelf prices
even the my usual go to's of Hell's Gate and Bowen Island got a bit more expensive
I've been going to the Berezan liquor stores a lot more. Their prices include tax and deposit. I usually get tallboys, but pricing is close or sometimes significantly better than BCL. The most expensive liquor stores seem to be the JRG (John Richard Group) stores. Their tallboys cost 25 - 40% more.
